Said he would not raise taxes and would eliminate some fees/tax increases that the ‘RATS previously enacted. He’s kept his word. He’s far from perfect but he’s likely the best we’ll ever be able to get in Maryland.

I haven’t seen Jim Webb’s name out there this time and he would be a good bet. He must be waiting to see if Terry McCauliffe is going to jump in.
Larry Hogan is likely to be as successful as his predecessor in securing a national nomination. (Remember Martin O’Malley? Most Democrats did not.)
Many people mistake Hogan’s status as “most popular governor in America” for something it is not. He is not the most popular governor in Indiana or Texas or Massachusetts. He has the highest home-state approval rating among all governors in the country.
DJT got over 50 percent of the primary vote in Maryland’s 2016 spring election. Hogan’s very high approval among Pubbies here in Maryland would have translate to votes - - and a large number of us would oppose him in a 2020 primary contest. We hope that he will realize that. I would rather he fade away than have to be knocked down off of a high horse.
I don’t have a problem with him making a primary run. Let’s see who wins.
Hogan is not that stupid.
His state is infested with MS-13 and has many sanctuary jurisdictions.
Anyone who sides with illegal aliens against the citizens and the rule of law isn’t good for America.
