Democrats Dismiss Trump’s Political Concession, Demand More
Breitbart ^ | 19 January 2019 | Neil Munro

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of Calif., center, speaks about her oath of office as she stands next to Senate Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer of N.Y., left, and Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., right, following their meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House in Washington, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019.

Democrats immediately rejected President Donald Trump’s offer of a work-permit amnesty for one million registered migrants in exchange for 230 miles of new border wall.

The rejection came even though Trump’s offer angered his base by trading a DACA temporary amnesty for a wall.

Also, Trump did not ask for the reform of the many catch-and-release rules which allow the cartels to profitably smuggle hundreds of thousands of poor migrants into the U.S. labor market, welfare rolls, and U.S. K-12 schools.

The speech came after Trump had offered a series of smaller concessions in closed-door negotiations since Christmas.

Democrats quickly dismissed the amnesty offer.

Sen. Chuck Schumer also rejected the compromise, saying, “offering some protections back in exchange for the wall is not a compromise but more hostage taking.

You would like to think so. However, he hasn’t resorted to Obama’s yet of disregarding the courts.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A federal judge just ruled obamacare to be unConstitutional. That didn’t seem to have any effect on it whatsoever. I didn’t see any democrats demanding that it be shutdown until the Supreme Court could rule on it.
“However, he hasn’t resorted to Obama’s yet of disregarding the courts.”
The courts never made unconstitutional rulings/injunctions/edicts against O’muslim when he was ‘President’.
Now, they’re common place. It’s called a constitutional crisis. The courts are ruling and running the country from the bench. The executive needs to tell the weakest branch to get bent. Trump has a constitutional DUTY to protect the office of the presidency and America from the tyrannical courts. [His advisors, who are telling him to appeal and capitulate to the courts, are complete F...ING MORONS]
I would round them up in the dead of the night and send them to gitmo but I’m a softy that way.
Of course they were going to ask for more. They know the old sheets will be folded soon.
For the dems, *bipartisan* means not 50/50 give and take.
It means republicans give and they take.
If the other side doesn’t agree wholeheartedly with the dems and agree to give them everything they demand, then it’s not *bipartisan*.
When I worked for a large company in the city in the mid 1980’s-we used to see it all the time-we would turn a couple of people over to la migra and the cops almost every week for having bogus ID’s-there were even a couple of underground places near one of the AFB’s where you could buy bogus ID’s-for a high price, in cash.
Since living and working out here-since 2003-I’ve only seen it once, and the person worked for another contractor. But this is a remote rural place with less than 400 people in this 20 x 20 mile area-no one does anything-personal or in their business-that damn near everyone else doesn’t know about by dinnertime, so hiring a mojado isn’t a wise thing to do-you will get the sheriff called on you and your business will suffer from no customers.
I have a friend who works in identity theft used in employment.
It’s massive. Hundreds of people will use the same SS number. Forgeries are top notch.
Time to totally abandon the shutdown. Focus just on immigration and trade. Keep the media focused on that. Let the Dems figure out how to open government.
Cut the workers 20% every Monday morning.
Start closing whole departments starting with Education.
He’s one “republican” that only pretends to trust Lucy to hold the football for him to kick it.
That's the scenario I always picture in my mind, that Nasty Pee-lousy is like Peanut's Lucy telling Charlie Brown to trust her in the end. So how will President Trump fool Lucy into holding the football while he kicks her in the face? (Not literally, but that would be great.) A good kick in the face would be if President Trump drags this out long enough for Dems to take away her Majority Speaker position!
Here’s how I see this playing out. Trump offered DACA, (three year extension), and TPS . He did not demand an end to the visa lottery, the family unification, the Flores agreement nor the E-verify. He asked for $5.7 billion for the wall, (without restrictions on size, materials and locations), extra border patrol agents, judges and bed spaces. Mitch has stated that the senate will put these items in a bill that includes opening the government. I expect the bill will be a rewrite of the last house bill. Trump has thus taken himself out of the legislative process, as is the correct and constitutional way to make law. It will then be up to Nancy and the house to accept, amend or decline the senate bill. Trump’s only involvement in all of this is to let both chambers know what he will accept and not accept in the bills in order to get his signature, (the constitution provides for this road map). If the house and senate can agree to a funding bill that Trump will not sign, they can muster the 2/3rds required to override his veto. If not, then they will need to go back to the drawing board. Trump has placed the responsibility back on the legislative branch where the constitution says it belongs. A great move to get back to regular order.
Assuming Trump wins another term, he needs to blow this whole thing right out of the water. First term wasted on trying to deal with the army of despicable un American vermin. If in his second term he does the same we are doomed after he leaves the cancer will be terminal and they win. We will never see another Trump or anyone who will fight them ever again.
Everytime they add something Trump should add an equally unpalatable point.
great analysis. Best I have seen. He is letting it run its proper course, and if he is forced to declare an emergency, he will have let them lay out the groundwork for any court challenges.
