A fireman who joined France's Yellow Vest protest movement is in a coma after being shot in the head 'like a rabbit' by a police officer using a controversial flash ball gun.
Horrific images show Olivier Beziade, a father-of-three in his 30s, lying on the floor in Bordeaux on Saturday after being hit from behind.
He is wearing one of the high-visibility motoring jackets from which the Yellow Vests get their name.

These courageous french are on the road just ahead of us.
I’ll just assume then that the next socialist potus will be a-ok with you and paying huge taxes on things the left deems to be climate killers is right up your alley.
“Riots against govt for months. Gets shot. Im supposed to feel sorry?”
When you polish your jackboots do you use Kiwi polish or the Doc Marten’s stuff?
Just curious.
Thanks for this. Will share widely.
Yes, if you are talking 12 gauge loads.
It mostly depends on range. Out to 15 feet, it does not make much difference.
Beyond that it makes a lot of difference.
Thank you sir for that information.
Is there a difference in the kick?
I had to have something when I bought it so I went for the small boxes at WM. Some boxes of boxes on sale, too.
I have one of the Mossberg 500 models.
Some of those injuries hurt just to look at. And I didn’t click on the more graphic ones. Plenty of people being hurt who aren’t even a part of the protest group, the yellow vests — they’re just sitting on a bench, trying to get to a shop, walking down their street. I don’t get the “cop” mentality here, how someone can do this to another human being, esp. an old man or woman, and then go home and sleep like it was nothing. Sadists? Are reports that some of these cops do not speak French correct? Scary.
I have people in my life that I absolutely know would be perfectly okay with me being dragged out of my home and taken to a re-education camp. They would think it was the “kind” thing to do, because I am so woefully ignorant (don’t believe in “climate change” for one) and hateful.
The Mossberg 500 is a decent pump shotgun. It can be used for a great many things.
Thanks again for that info. FReepmail.
I always keep a flash ball gun handy when rabbit hunting.
Jeez. I’m not easily affected by such things, but this is horrific. France is doing this to her own people? The police are throwing bricks and rocks at protesters? The elderly and children are being hurt - and before some of you say, “They shouldn’t have been protesting,” many were bystanders.
After this, no one should be surprised if there is revolution.
Regarding injuries from the firing of flashballs in France. The French Government pronounced today they are a legitimate tool/use of force against the Gilets Jaunes. Protestor Representatives had requested water cannons or less lethal means be employed.
Over 600,000 of these Lanceurs de balles have been fired against the citizens protesting the Macron “regime”.
I wonder if we still possess the gumption the French are now demonstrating. Shame on us if we don't.
You are correct Sans,
Yellow Vests have been looking for a martyr, now they have one.
Hey! You can’t discuss things rationally like that, you have to call me a name.
How about if I just taunt you a first time...and then a second time?
And yes, I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail again this weekend.
Video of a girl getting shot from a 12-guage at about 10 feet (thank God it was 7.5 or 8 birdshot!).

Testimony of girl at trial:

One student was killed when the killer first came to the building. Came from behind and put the gun at the base of the boy’s neck. Several others were injured. The worst was the girl. 2-3 others had injuries which required pulling all the pellets out of their skin - but nothing penetrating. (Of course a head shot at a distance could have caused blindness).
7.5 to 8 is for fragile clay pigeons and small birds.
#4 is for larger birds like ducks at greater distances.
I suppose any type of buckshot would be good for self defense. I have 00 in mine, and slugs in a stock holder.
Anything that will stop a human will also go through drywall and insulation. At in-home distances the spread of any shot-size or choke size is minimal - 4 to 12 inches spread or so.
Not to say that some guy in your home getting shot with birdshot isn’t going to feel a lot of pain and one would think they would get the message to leave. However, if they have a gun do I just want to put them in pain (and mad). Or if they are on drugs it may not even faze them.
She is very lucky he did not hit her center mass.
Sounds like he hit her body but did not get the chest cavity.
She remained mobile, upright, and just walked off.
At that distance, the pattern of the shotgun has usually only spread two inches, and the pellets reinforce each other.
Haven’t seen that movie in a while, I need to watch it again.
I had bought the 25th anniversary two-disk set when it first came out, but gave it to my son, and never saw it again. So I recently re-bought it. The second disk has the extras, and shows Terry Jones and Michael Palin re-visiting the places they shot the movie in, plus there's a BBC special that was made during the filming of the movie. The DVD was dirt-cheap on Amazon...probably even paid less than what I'd bought it for when it originally came out. I see Terry Gilliam has finally released his long-time planned movie venture: "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote."
Remember this when you think law enforcement will be on Constitution American’s side as SHTF here. I know there are LEO’s here, but you are in the minority. Hope you are on the right side of your community. Cops and military will be against us. Is what it is..
