Will legal issues hold it up? That’s all that matters. Trump has 2 years(19 months) to get major work on the wall done. The rats need be squished like a bug on this.
We’re being invaded(for decades now). I’d say that’s a national emergency. Hopefully, there’s no mention of DACA or amnesty. Just that he’s going to build the wall with the military.

The border wall project has ramped up and is now ready to go big - now is the time for the money bomb. This is the main battle of the Wall War.
If the President gets $5 billion, we are off to the races, and will button up the Rio Grande Valley and the main border cities.
Read last week that 15,000 more are on their way. Yes, it’s not only a National Emergency, these people are lawbreakers.
Already the left is mouthing “Abuse of Power” and the machinery is getting into gear to stop the President in the courts.
Drudge Report is littered with comments from left-wing law school and defense agency know-it-alls who are loudly proclaiming there is no “National Emergency”.
There are even references to the parts of the U.S. Code which the Administration will be relying upon (Defense Department allocations for military construction) so that the net result is, before any steps have been taken by the White House, the left has been handed all of the plans in advance.
Frankly it is troublesome to me why this has to be the process, and why there is always this telegraphing of the President’s intentions to his enemies before he takes action.
I was thinking that in a declared state of emergency judges and courts will have problems if they try and hold Trump back. Sounds like a perfect pretext for the President to beat the actively left wing court up.
Because the left are so willing to dismiss law a clash is inevitable. Hopefully this is it.
A national emergency, would look more like the national immigration emergency that it truly is, if the social workers, lawyers, and mules, who are engaged in a broad conspiracy to break immigration law on a wholesale level, were arrested. A pre dawn no knock raid on offices and residences would help.
Yes, and an announcement that the coup plotters, starting with many ranking Democrats, have also been arrested. (Dreams. Dreams.)

It can be aggued that in national security matters, the courts have no jurusdiction. Further, those that try to make aand enforce such rulings are guilty of treasonous actions against the welfare of American citizens.
The President cant’ be squishy on this one. He has to be direct, concise and consistent on the plan.

Trump can and MUST hold their feet to the fire and push ahead.... it goes without saying that he WILL be re elected so he has no need to worry on that point.
The Liberals/MSM will turn this into a circus (what they do best-and recently-it’s ALL they do!!). They will set a new standard even surpassing themselves with all the flap and emotion.
