18 month old Richie needs your prayers

Prayer Warriors have seen this but we need everyone to offer prayers for Richie.

Picture a few months old but the only one I have available.

First a little history .... The last week of November, Richie received several vaccines which included the flu vaccine.

On December 2nd, he was hospitalized with paralysis of his arms and legs. He was put on a respirator and the outlook was bleak. I posted a note on FB asking for prayers from family and friends.

Richie is the grandson of a cousin who is more like a little brother than a cousin.

Sorry to hear about Ritchie’s decline. I can’t imagine what his famous is experiencing with all the ups and downs. I continue to pray for them. May God strengthen and keep them.

This has been a difficult couple of weeks.

I cried during my prayers this morning. I asked God to please either heal Richie or call him home. Sobbing.

This situation is killing his family. Grandpa and Grandma visited today but did not get any smiles. Grandpa says Richie is not happy right now. He is conscience and isn't in any pain but he is unable to talk with the ventilator set at max.

They took Brian for lunch to get him away from the hospital for a couple of hours. He is not eating right and getting very little rest.

Without God's miracle, Richie's chance for a Life are not good. He is a special little guy and I will continue praying for a miracle but there is only so much this family can handle.

It looks like this is becoming a real problem for children these days. I read U.S. health officials alarmed by polio-like illness affecting kids. Some kids DO recover after therapy. I continue to lift up Richie and his family in prayer. It breaks my heart, too.

Thanks for the updates, though they are sad, they remind us to keep praying.

We cannot understand God’s plan for us but we have faith that He will gently guide us all home.
