I guess I really don’t believe he had to be blackmailed in order to give Obama his healthcare scam.
I think Roberts actually believed he made a good ruling.
He’s a moron in a black robe, to quote Mark Levine.
Ding, ding, ding - we have a thread winnah!
Yous see, his first wife truly was a harridan, whom he had beheaded after he found out.
He then swore no other wives would ever cheat on him again, and thus he would marry them, sleep with them, and then off with their heads the next morning.
King was running out of virgins to marry when he spied Shaharazade (sp?)and ordered her to come to him to marry.
She knew the gig was up the next day, so started the 1001 nights of tales as bert describes.
What is missins is this:She was not a harridan, but a very intelligent, innocent, down to earth young girl, who, during the 1001 nights, would spin tale after tale of deceit yes, but forgiveness, and respect, and honor.
In the end, the reason the king did not have her killed was because he finally saw the light that he was not the only one thus wronged, and far greater men than he had learned to and actually practiced forgiveness, mercy, and honor.
In that vein, we actually could use a boatload more like her, especially in seats of office where laws are "cussed and discussed.."
Well, this needs to be confirmed and screamed from the rooftops.
HEY MR. PRESIDENT!!!
I wonder how many of the supposedly 800,000 federal workers affected by the partial government shutdown live in Washington D.C? The main stream media wants to discuss the TSA agents but I want to know the number of Washington DC residents.
The oldest Marxist tactic in the book. Make everyone think the only Fed employees are cops and firemen. It’s the only time they care about either.
I’m sure potus has it all in mind and already has a plan. He always does.
"Supposedly" is right. (as if they work)
They are......The bureaucRATs!
Eff 'em all!
Washington DC and the seven wealthy suburbs.
That was normal for them, they did it often, and their was a wind screen in front of the kennel. The dog wasn't sick and then put on the roof because it was sick. The dog didn't become sick from being on the roof. It rode on the roof many times without being sick. But reasonable people might disagree about how to treat their dog.
What is not reasonable is running at least 40 articles on it in the NYT. Not reasonable to exaggerate the story decades later for political purposes. Not reasonable to not get the story straight.
In sane parts of the country, dogs ride in the bed of pick up and like it.
Well, as you say, who knows?
I still think Occam’s Razor is the best explanation. That is the simplest answer.
Roberts is a Elite Statist in conservative sheep’s clothing. He changed because someone else other than Scalia bent his ear, and brought up the “It’s a Tax” scheme, which the elitist part of his brain fell for.
But—as you say, who knows?
Yes, Romney did put up a wind screen to help keep the dog from huge winds while they drove.
I will forever think that dog lovers would not do this. In my lifetime I have owned over 20 dogs. NONE OF THEM WOULD WANT TO BE ON THE ROOF OF A CAR WHILE IT’S RIDING!
I am not going to argue this anymore.
I think it says volumes about Romney. Why didn’t he just admit it was a dumb thing to do?
As for the dog being sick BEFORE the ride, from a turkey dinner as they say....hey, I got a bridge to sell anyone believes this....cheap. Does anyone really believe that the dog would have pooped that turkey while running around the house?
Heh.
Yeah, it was overkill for a kind of silly story.
If only Romney would have just said he made a mistake. Instead he and his wife laughed like a hyena.
I’m done.
Believe what you will.
OOnce again....MY DOGS LOVED to drive in back of a pickup truck. Even at that it’s kind of dangerous thing to do. But they do like that. They liked their heads hanging out the window as the wind whipped.
But in a cage strapped to a roof of a car?
I got a bridge to sell anyone thinks a dog would love this.
Cheap....this bridge.
How much do you need to get for that bridge?
