I agree. Bring it to my place. We will have a quiet dinner together. I will wrap the animal in many paper covered packages and it will never be subjected to screaming fans again.
I’m guessing these animals are taken care of better than most kids belonging to PETA parents.

I think PETA is right about this, although I am not really an animal lover per se. In fact, I believe pet ownership to be objectionable in many ways, especially when there are human beings all over the world and often right next door who need help from other humans. And pets can be an annoyance to others.
I just think animals deserve respect. Dressing them up in costumes and exploiting their nature for our entertainment is not way up there on my list.

I was on campus to do a seminar on certain aeronautic topics.
I noted in the materials that my name had been Anglicized by someone and it did not note I was Israeli or an officer in the IDF.
I was informed this was to avoid campus unrest.
I introduced myself by my real name and said I was an officer in the IDF. Several people immediately got up and left.
I once tried my best to make a point with PETA that it is animal abuse for vegans to force “carnivorous” cats and dogs to become vegan.
I mean really... If a bag of vegan cat food has to be labeled as “anti-puking” formula to sell it, something is obviously wrong with the whole concept. lol
