As we enter the second week of a partial government shutdown over Democrats’ refusal to give POTUS Donald Trump a paltry $5 billion for border security measures including the construction of a wall, the party of the donkey continues to claim they support it.
On Dec. 19, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said on the chamber floor Democrats have consistently supported “smart border security.”
But is that true? Hardly. In fact, their voting record shows just the opposite.

They had 50 years to fix the problem but they did nothing.
They do support border security. In fact, they plan to do something about all of those high earners trying to sneak across the borders of New York, Illinois, and California and avoid their social responsibility to pay their fair share of those states’ taxes. :)
Don’t forget that Flimsey Grahamnesty has supported every amnesty attempt since 2006.

They can’t support border security because that is the o9nly way they restock their voter plantations. They need those dependent people they can rely on come voting time.
The only secure borders they care about are the ones around their mansions.

In both cases, the Senate passed a bipartisan immigration bill with more than enough cloture votes, but the legislation never got a vote on the floor of the House because Hastert(in 2006) and Boehner(in 2013) refuse to give it a vote.
I've read the US Constitution and never saw anything in it about the Hastert Rule.
Soooooo, if the Senate were to pass as bipartisan immigration bill in the next session, Pelosi would probably give it a vote.

Yep just ask out going governor Jerry Brown he just sign a bill that a 16 year old can’t be charged with murder.

What does Amnesty have to do with Border Security. If the Democrats gave a damn about Border Security, they’d work with the Republicans to close the loophole (Asylum claims) that has these huge numbers of Central Americans coming here.
There’s no need to create 10s of millions of new Democrat voters at the same time.
