“The republicans killed immigration reform twice, in 2006 and 2013, by invoking the Hastert Rule.”

What does Amnesty have to do with Border Security. If the Democrats gave a damn about Border Security, they’d work with the Republicans to close the loophole (Asylum claims) that has these huge numbers of Central Americans coming here.

There’s no need to create 10s of millions of new Democrat voters at the same time.

According to Prof Jonathan Turley, hating Trump has the Democrats remaking themselves.
In order to "Get-Trump," Dems are making dizzying u-turns on their most revered positions.

<><>Turley observed that the viscerally soft-on-crime Democrats have even embraced expanding definitions of crimes like obstruction, conspiracy, and the like. Democrats have resisted efforts to criminalize broader and broader areas of conduct, and now sound like legal hawks in demanding criminal charges for conduct long treated as civil matters, such as campaign finance violations and foreign agent registration violations.

<><> Demos have heretofore looked askance at America's endless wars but are now triggered by Trump's exit from Syria.

<><> Liberals once rejected the premise that we should engage in continual wars in other countries or face terrorism on our streets at home.

<><> Pelosi said the exit was a "Christmas gift to Putin."

<><> Morning Joe Scarborough sounding like the Republicanism he denounced says Trump failed to understand
that we must fight “enemies like ISIS abroad, so we do not have to fight them in our own schools, churches and airports.”

CONCLUSION Trump is in the catbird seat----he can easily trigger the Dems on the border issue---take a
position that forces Demos to support border security that goes against everything they say thy stand for.

I haven't ever seen an enforcement only immigration bill in the senate or the house. Where is it?

Get the senate or the house to appropriate 30 plus billion for the fence, because Mexico ain't gonna pay. Plus, the senate or the house needs to come up with the money for another 100,000 Ice Agents because these local taxpayers in the sanctuary cities ain't gonna pay to enforce federal laws. You pay Mr Federal Taxpayer.

You need to come up with another 80 billion to patrol the schools because the teachers ain't gonna enforce federal immigration laws.

How much money are you going to come up with for visa overstay? There are more illegals in the USA from overstaying visas than there are from crossing the Mexican border. Come up with the money to apprehend all the illegals who overstayed their visa then we can talk about the border.

If you don't understand the problem by now, you are too furking dumb.

The budget hawks have overruled the border hawks
