Newly elected New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a self-described Democratic socialist, called for a furlough of congressional salaries in the event of another government shutdown on Saturday.

Republicans and conservatives really need to stop with the memes and jokes and start destroying this woman with facts. Because AOC is nothing more than a retread statist, but she's influencing millions on the wonders of socialism (soon to be communism) like Vladimir Lenin did.

Stopped clock?
Congress shouldn’t be paid anything. If candidates can’t succeed in the private sector they shouldn’t be allowed to hold office. Our founding fathers were wise enough to give the vote only to freeholders.
Do I think she’s on the right track in her thinking? As they say even a stopped clock is right twice a day. But still given all that she’s still a nut.
