Rep. Al Green (D-TX) on Tuesday suggested that he will soon bring articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump for “bigotry.”
While prominent Democrats have tiptoed around the question of whether Trump should be impeached before Special Counsel Robert Mueller finishes his investigation, Green said there are plenty of other reasons to impeach Trump, including Trump’s “bigotry.”
“I am here to say without question, reservation, or hesitation that we should not allow ourselves to get back to bigotry as usual,” Green said on the House floor. “There seems to be a desire to avoid the question of bigotry, to avoid the question of bigotry emanating from the presidency. There seems to be a desire to move on to something else. Let’s find the other way to deal with the problem.” Green said “that’s not what the people who suffer from the bigotry have to endure… they have to deal with the actual bigotry, the actual ugliness being fostered across the length and breadth of this country as a result of the bigotry.”

And I know that impeachment is not a legal proceeding per se, but rather a political one.
So there is no such thing as a crime of bigotry. Being a bigot is not an endearing personality or character trait. But it is not a crime. You can't be arrested for being a bigot.
So we'll go with political instead of legal. Being a bigot is what every democRAT thinks a Republican is by definition. Being bigots is in the DNA of the GOP supporters. Right?
If that's the case, why single out Trump? He apparently is just one of many bigots that litter the political landscape in DC by nature of his party affiliation.

Al, if you're going to attempt to impeach Trump, at least have a good reason and not just a wish on your Santa's list.
I must have missed that as a qualifying criterion for impeachment in the Constitution. Maybe it was right behind the clause that cited “being a big doo-doo-head” as grounds as well.
