The young 29 year old of North African descent, but born in the French city, fired at a Christmas market. He later collided with the security forces. He is wounded. Six injured are in serious condition.

Cherif, 29 years old, born in Strasbourg, but of North African origins, the attacker who killed three people last night in the French city and wounded 12 others. Cherif was reportedly radicalized during one of his periods in prisons and was listed as dangerous on police records.  In fact security forces had wanted to arrest him just yesterday morning for involvement in a robbery with murder, but the police did not find him in his home. This is what is known until now of the young man who is still on the run, following a shootout with the police during which he was injured.

The attack took place yesterday evening around 8pm (local time) at one of the Christmas markets, near the central Place Kléber.

It appears to have been a terrorist attack, even if the reasons are not yet clear. At least six of the injured people are in very serious conditions.

You are correct. When they face mekkah and beat their heads on the ground, their butt hole is also facing Mekkah in the opposite direction, unless the world is really FLAT as a moslem iman said it was.

The French are embarrassed by yet another Muslim mass murder. Their solution is a coverup.

Assimilation works -- have you seen the Sri Lankans in France or the Vietnamese? They assimilate even though they look nothing like the French.

oh, but they aren't Muslims...

In America there is a sizable percentage of patriots who are armed & aware & as noted have the right of self defense.

Note the gungrabbers’ favorite meme: “more and more guns in fewer and fewer hands” meaning gun owners are a shrinking minority that can be dealt with by a `progressive majority’ which BTW exists in the House and nowhere else.

Again I ask, where are the Muslim grooming gangs in America? Where are the rapists preying in city streets here as they do in Germany?

It concerns me that there is no national organization of armed patriots other than the NRA. As for local militias, the saying goes that half the members are FBI or ATF agents, and the other half are informants.

Millions of each of us has his guns, ammo, prepper supplies, reloading equipment, and goes to the range regularly. But how are we to be transformed into a coherent armed force that governments bent on tyranny (CA, NY, NJ, WA, etc.) cannot afford to disregard? I don’t know.

Open conflicts always begin with some sort of signal event that triggers a general call to arms. Different people, in different times and circumstances, resond to triggers unique to them.

It's true that the armed patriotic right is unorganized now, but some triggering event that is unique to us and our times, could cause us to quickly organize ourselves into regional militias.

From there, it would likely take a second, more serious event, to trigger us to stand and face an imminent threat.

I think it all comes down to perceived level of threat. So far, most patriots have not yet perceived a level of threat that warrants organizing militias. There's a strong likelihood that will change, given the ever increasing threats to life, liberty, and country, from the left.

Totally agree. Would it be safe to say that most owners of tactical rifles are motivated by their possible future need should tyranny arise? And in this IT age one doesn’t need a Paul Revere to warn us that the redcoats are marching, just an Iphone.

Unlike the “Fudds” who are said to only care for the right to their fine shotguns & hunting rifles. AR-15’s? Oh please,...how gauche.

I would say, yes, but with a caveat.

A lot of shooters simply enjoy the freedom to own and shoot firearms of all sorts, and only rise to the awareness of the gun's vital importance to Liberty over time.

It will take an awareness that America is unique in all the world concerning gun rights to realize its importance in safeguarding Liberty.

Study current events in Europe and watch our new Democrat-owned House next month (”WE are the masters now!!”) for a good idea as to just how fragile Lady Liberty’s upheld torch really is. How about a bill requiring every gun owner to buy $1,000,000 personal liability insurance? In the works.

Hmm...since there is no national gun registry nor licensing of owners, how will that be enforced?

Two states have now outlawed magazines over 10 rds. Looks like every traffic stop will involve a vehicle search.

Plug: quora.com is a good place for some really Euronutty assertions that citizens don’t need to have guns and that Americans are gun obsessed. The replies set the record straight.

Good thing most gun owning Americans are fully aware of that, and should push come to shove, they'll show the world the true purpose of the 2nd Amendment.
