They make beds in inns across the country. They pick oranges in Florida, strawberries in California and vegetables in Ohio. And they have built new subdivisions in Phoenix, Atlanta and Charlotte.
For years, policymakers have talked about shutting off the influx of undocumented workers. But the economy has grown to rely on them.
Ending illegal immigration, say many of those who have studied the issue, could mean that American workers would lose their jobs, companies would close and the economy would contract.

I witnessed something aggravating the other day. In a US post office, a customer spoke no English but wanted to pick up a package. The employee then mentioned about ten countries in south or central America and did it as slowly as possible hoping he’d get a lead of some sort. The customer never reacted. He then said something about a translator being next door.
How about ‘job sharing’? 6 months full time. Jan-June. His or her friend flies in for a 2 week overlap in May and works until Dec. 15. Everyone goes home on time and learns good English in the process. A 60 hour workweek would be like the 24 hour shifts an M.D. takes in his residency. Toughening them up for future citizenship.

Asset forfeiture would work like a magic wand. No point in being here illegally if you can lose all of the stuff you have accumulated.
There is a program like that....provides jobs, housing, pay...provided they come for a certain amount of time, and then leave. The next year, the business owner applies for a certain number of “workers” and does it again.

They created laws that pay American citizens to NOT WORK.
Then they entice illegals to come to America by giving them welfare, EBT food cards, free medical, free schools, and social security retirement.
Once the illegals are here politicians have made it easy for them and employers to circumvent laws so the illegals can be employed.
Then they tell us we must allow the illegals to remain here and continue to work or it will collapse the economy.
Don’t forget to blame the people that hire them.

They still have to attempt to translate into English where you live? Here, at the bank, store, etc, there are always employees who speak Spanish so they don’t have to attempt any English ever.
It probably won’t change because the focus is on border security. We can’t even get a wall built much less round up illegals in this country or tighten workplace rules. One the dems get back the Presidency they will flood this country with illegals.

All the government has to do is enforce 100% asset forfeiture on ten thousand or so illegals, and millions will be moving, while they still have their assets, out of the reach of the government. All the government has to do is say all assets were gained illegally since the illegals have no right to be employed. When libs whine, just show them the laws the libs passed about asset forfeiture.
You might want to let the people in Northwest Florida get their houses fixed first.
