So honor, remembrance, showing respect and the resurrection of Jesus have nothing to do with this huh? Amazing!☺
What does Roberts have to do with the tradition of honoring dead presidents?
You are pushing some hypocritical false of “giving honor where honor is not due” regarding office holders and public service.
So I asked if you honored John Roberts for holding the office and for his public service.
I don’t think that SC judges are generally given state funerals; the Court seems to have its own traditions. I imagine that Roberts’ service - and by extension the office itself - will be honored in a traditional way. These traditions and ceremonies are not only - and often not so much - for the person who has passed, as for the nation and its ideals which override individuals and temporal issues.
(I sincerely hope that when you pass away, the entirety of your life is taken into account instead of just certain aspects of it - like, for instance, the way you conduct yourself here.)
Literally LOL.
I sincerely hope when you pass away the Lord will overlook your mendacity, deceit and hypocrisy and that He will forgive you for trying to lead His children into the serious sin of calling evil good, deceitful doublemindedness and self righteousness, which is, of course, idolatry.
The Lord Jesus was not one who submitted to false authority, or tradition.
Neither are we!
LOL again at your smug deceit. Wow. A keeper.
iot’s good to start a fire in a wood stove
You make my case.
You make mine. The RINO road leads straight to (actual) Hell.
I’ve never been a Republican. I don’t see how I could be one ‘in name only’. I also don’t believe in ‘Hell’.
You’ll have to come up with other epithets and punishments.
LOL; if you don’t believe in the God of Judeo Christianity, then you have no understanding of “honor” or “tradition”... and this why your hypocrisy, mendacity and illogic is so glaring.
I won’t be your eternal Judge, just someone who tried to warn you there is One who is intimately involved in the affairs of men.
Yeah, read it earlier...President Trump didn’t order USPS to do anything...the Postmaster General decided to close based on the National Day of Mourning. Just like the CEO of FedEX decided not to close on Wednesday. USPS is not a part of government since 1971 and do not necessarily conform to federal/OPM holidays.
Only the executive can order it. Have you ever worked for government?
Yep, we get it...it is a Presidential declared Federal holiday...doesn’t necessarily have to be a USPS holiday. Especially when you have lost $13 billion over the last 3 years (bankruptcy/bailout?). Closing tomorrow will cost the USPS at least $135 million.
Yes it does. The executive has absolute power, including the USPS.
Amazing.
Thank God he came home okay!
See ya’,
Ed
