In the future, when all cars are electric, will they create public destruction by somehow short-circuiting and firing or exploding the battery packs? Of course, then the rioting will be over the price of electricity.
I wonder what is gonna happen when it’s us.
Why do people want to control the lives of other people? Why can't we all just live and be our own nations and communities?
They are taxed enough already. I love it.
Macron already has a low 25% approval.
It will go even lower.
Apparently, there still French Patriots alive.
I don’t think we’ll be saying, “It’s different this time.”
But, at least we will have seen it somewhere else first.
Now Paris looks like a post apocalyptic movie scene.....
So people burn their precious gasoline to make a statement? They must be really angry to do that.
Very intelligent comments.
Sorry that I have to bring up the fact that Sessions doesn't agree [re: Bundys].
It’s that perennial French favorite, “Auto-Flambe”.
Now, with more Couscous!
Socialism requires the raising of lots of money.
Rebirth of the French Revolution, when the riots were about the price of bread.
Now, it is much more sophisticated. The insurrectionists are much better prepared with technology now available, enabling a much more coordinated attack on higher value targets.
Still could get pretty danged bloody, though.
Let me know when they take the guillotine out.
“Macron, in Argentina for a G20 summit, said he would convene ministers to discuss the crisis upon his return on Sunday”
yeah, convening a committee and talking a lot about stupidly high fuel taxes levied for ridiculous reasons should solve the problem all right ...
Social insurrection and unrest are signs of the END TIMES. When will they start unwrapping the Guillotine?
Yes, when done politely. What Socialism really needs is the increasing government commandeering and control of the economy. Money, either stolen by printing or by increased taxation, is a slower and more polite method of nationalization.
We all know what a basket case Venezuela is, but it's easy to forget how long it took to get to today's depths. Chavez was elected (or more precisely, took power) in 1999, almost 20 years ago. He started with taxation and printing, but soon moved on to decrees and outright confiscation of private property and enterprise. (For the children, you know.)
Ah, Paris...the City of Lights. Lit cars...lit buildings...lit businesses...lit piles of rubbish. Leftists ruin everything they touch.
France is a “Democracy” that the leftist SOB’s in this country want to emulate.
