ABC’s comedy Blackish is known for taking on the issue of racism, but Tuesday’s episode was particularly heavy on the topic, celebrating controversial former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick as a hero and painting white men as ignorant racists who need to be saved from themselves.
In the episode, “Stand up, Fall Down,” main character Dre (Anthony Anderson) decides to take his teenage son Andre "Junior" (Marcus Scribner) to work with him as an intern.
While there, Andre witnesses Dre’s white coworkers and boss, who are usually painted as racially insensitive, suggesting racist ideas for a restaurant ad campaign they’re working on.

I saw something extraordinary a few days ago.
I was watching the CW and was not even paying attention until something struck me as odd.
There were three ads in a row in which everyone was Black. Then four more came on. Two were all Black and the other two only had two White females so they could show inter-racial couples.
Now for all I know, Blackish could be about Boston Blackie but the odds are so low that I have never watched it.

Probably Boston Blackie would be disallowed today. Kind of like Buckwheat in the Rascals shows. Although, we were at an event last week and a musician buddy of mine who happens to be an AA took off his cap and asked if his hair was all “Buckwheat”. I had to tell him yup. It was.
At least they didn’t portray him as a football player, that would have been a reach.

Imagine if Space Aliens came to Earth and only watched TV ads as their source of information about our planet. They would think 50% of the population is either black or gay, white people hang out with black people all of the time, and everyone intermarries.
My main question, is why? It can't just be patronization. What is the agenda?
One day, I will depart this vale of tears without ever having seen an episode of Blackish.
Oh, I have noticed it just was surprised to see it so overwhelming in a short time period.
There are a lot of things which are being pushed but Blacks are to the extent of being weird.
Yeah, the smoking hot female detective / special operator / special agent who weighs 110 pounds yet kicks the asses of guys over twice her weight and strength is so cliched it’s ludicrous.
And she always looks like she just came from a beauty treatment.
It’s just entertainment. It’s a visual medium So beauty is important.
Me too.
And where are the spin-offs?
Whitish....
Yellowish....
Brownish....
Arabish
It has become increasingly clear that the networks are targeting those who watch them. Therefore, they overpopulate their shows with blacks, gays and whatever the deviation de jour is.
Since the number of white and educated people who watch network tv is declining and the idle and uneducated viewers are increasing, that is the audience they cater to. And that makes perfect sense from a business point of view.
And that is exactly why people such as myself are watching less and less of their programming and buying less of their advertisers products.
I have many scientific studies that support this thesis. I just recycle the climate change studies to get the results I cited. /s
This was a pretty good show for the first part of the first season even with the white boss being a cuck. Then they started teaching about blackness and such. Turned them off then.
I've noticed that too. Women beating up men. Not big buff women ... little gals with linguine arms who might weigh 125 pounds. Yeah, that's real life. /sarc
It's only somebody's feminist wet dream, and the second I see that I turn the channel because I know the show is going to be propaganda in other forms too.
I would never watch blackish, or modern family, or 2 and 1/2 a$$holes, or any other of the shows that shove leftist crap in my face.
A couple months ago we were watching a TV show (can't remember the name offhand. The Crossing?) about some folks 150 yrs into the future comes back to our time. A cross section of their society. Blacks, Whites etc.
I told my wife in 150 yrs everyone will be brown, no Black or White.
If there's one thing the MSM and the race whores have taught me is color is first and foremost.
I never used to notice color as the premier attribute of people.
