Final election tonight in Mississippi for the US Senate and a few House races.
Not to worry,Trump has a magic ball and can see the future.
Thank you Edie1960!
I understand that Brooks is pretty much of a NeverTrumper.
That’s an awful choice between two Trump enemies, Sessions and Brooks IMO.
Cindy Hyde-Smith leads by 6 percentage points over Mike Espy with 9 percent of precincts reporting.
Up 7% with 9% in.
Hyde-Smith leads Espy 53.5 to 46.5 with 9% in.
Brooks is my rep.
You understand incorrectly.
Jackson isn’t Hinds. All the whites have left Jackson, for obvious reasons, and even most of the blacks have left Jackson for Byram, Raymond, Terry, etc.
Unfortunately, I’m in deep blue Maryland.
Yes, we have a GOPe governor, but he’s an outspoken critic of President Trump.
BTW, I have the ONLY GOP congressman in my CD.
You must mean Hinds is more than just Jackson?

Weighted by the number of votes in each county so far, Espy is outperforming his Nov. 6 results by 9.5 percentage points so far
which is exactly what hed need to finish in a tie tonight.
______________
Is it all empty now? /s
What? Looks like an R blowout.
Cindy Hyde-Smith leads by 6 percentage points over Mike Espy with 10 percent of precincts reporting.
You’re most welcome, Entropy12!
Returns starting to look much better.
Jackson is a sh**hole. I used to teach there in the high schools. Byram, Terry, Raymond, Clinton, all of those areas of Hinds are whites and blacks living together that do not want to live in Jackson anymore. It’s amazing that the residents of Jackson don’t burn down the city and start over. It’s just that bad.
There is a SMALL smidgen of whites that live in N Jackson, but they’re only staying there because they grew up there and the prop. values are still okay north of Woodrow Wilson.
Let’s hope this trend endures, but I am nervous.
I would say R is pretty comfortable, % wise the D have a lot to make up, but doesnt look like strong showing for blue
Cindy Hyde-Smith leads by 6 percentage points over Mike Espy with 12 percent of precincts reporting.
12% in, R up 5.8
