Conservative Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz has claimed that Europeans’ attitude toward mass migration has vastly changed since 2015 with advocates for demographic replacement having gone quiet.
Chancellor Kurz made the comments this week on a visit to Switzerland where he met with the President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset. According to Kurz, “There are a lot of things that have changed,” and he noted the European Union’s recent drive to secure the Mediterranean border, broadcaster Radio Télévision Suisse reports.
“A lot of people who said that (the migration of 2015), it is beneficial for Europe, it is necessary for our demography, do not say it any more,” Kurz added.
One of the arguments for mass migration, particularly in the wake of the migrant crisis, was the need for more migrants to counter the declining birthrates in Western European countries. Since the crisis, some countries, like Sweden and Germany, have seen population growth almost solely driven by mass migration.
When asked about his coalition with the populist Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ), Kurz said: “We have defined clear lines to lead Austria, to change our country. The Socialists did not want to work with us, so we created an alliance with the FPÖ and we are making good policies of reform for our country.”

I think the more ironic fate for them is to expel them and send them to live (briefly) in a progressive Muslim country like Yemen or Sudan.

I expect it to take the form of a civil war within the European Union with the EU military attacking whichever country tries to follow the UK to the exit.
We were originally told by the globalists that they were doing the ethical thing to allow refugees into Europe because of the war in Syria. Now we are being told by the same globalists that we need to accept more of the poor people of South/Central America who are escaping a violent environment in their home countries. How many third world people can we absorb before we are bankrupted? And the people telling us to accept these people are the ones who will benefit politically while passing on the cost to their opposing citizens.
I guess he picked 2015 rather than 2016 for some good reason. Not wanting to credit Trump for it would not be a good reason, in my view.
The EU blamed the lack of peace with their friends the Pallies who steal EU foreign aid and bury the money in numbered Swiss accounts, on Israel (Jews). An old European target Jews, they said were bad because they couldn’t get along with the peaceful Muslims.
Now having first hand experience with garden variety Muslims
the EU still supporting terrorist who attack Israelis.

The changing view coincides with liberal anti white attitude of whites all being treated as the new Jews.

The left has not changed it’s attitudes towards migration. They’ve just learned that they can’t be honest about their intentions and instead need to lie or risk getting wiped out come election time.
Europe is now the metaphorical liberal who’s been mugged.

He picks 2015 for two reasons.
First, this is the year that bulk ‘trekkers’ (my word for the crowd arriving in Greece and walking north into central Europe) start to occur. By the end of the year....roughly 1-million have made their way into Germany. I sat that summer and could see working class Germans asking questions which the political figures could not answer (like how much was this going to cost). You could sense that the no-crowd was now a problem for the political folks.
Second, the 31 December 2015 event in Koln. Massive mess, 1000 police reports generated the next day, with this migrant male crowd that night. Over the next two or three months...the public TV crowd (two networks in Germany) were unable to carry a pro-migrant message anymore....the public simply weren’t buying into it, and there was fear that the public might go and yank on the ‘dump-the-public-TV-funding’ deal.
What Trump said in 2016 really didn’t matter in Europe. The atmosphere and public support for bulk migration/asylum simply wasn’t going to work again.
