I am still monitoring the live coverage from Tijuana channel 12. A lot of the invaders are now wearing handkerchiefs and t-shirts over their faces. They are organized and 85% are males aged 18-35. There is now razor wire in the middle of the Rio Tijuana where the river crosses the border. Armed U.S. Border Patrol agents are ready and waiting.
Sunday is the biggest day of the week for border crossings. Many families have members on both sides. This a giant problem for Mexicans who obey our laws.
The Mexican reporters on Channel 12 are talking about how historic this is. The San Ysdiro Border crossing has never been completely closed before in its history of more than 100 years. They are talking about the economic consequences for Baja California. They are not talking about the needs or wants of the Central Americans in the caravans.
