Plan B then: Shut down the border completely. Slow walk asylum applications - maybe 10 per day. Stop all foreign aid to Mexico. Tax money transfers from the US to Mexico at 50%. Wait for that pain to kick in and watch Mexico start rounding up the invaders.

I get the impression she’s changing horses in mid-stream. Maybe her earlier citation reported by WaPo received negative feedback.
