A federal judge temporarily blocked the Trump administration from denying asylum to migrants who illegally cross into the United States, saying the policy likely violated federal law on asylum eligibility.
The judge pointedly denied the claim that the president, by fiat, could give the manner of entry added legal weight as a determinant of asylum. He reasoned that the

Just as party crashers are not guests; illegal aliens (border jumpers) are not immigrants.
Try sneaking into Walt Disney World and see where you land.... Jail!
Try sneaking into a Pro-ball game and see where you land... Jail!
Time to load up the immigrants on buses and place them into the neighborhood of this judge, and into other tactical areas - but no vetting. Let the pro-amnesty crowd deal with them instead of pawning them off into areas where other Americans have to take care of them.
Politicans almost never act
they react
The Mexican population is presently developing reasons that
require a reaction.
Fortunately, you are not our President
Seriously, when is POTUSDJT going to inform these unconstitutional judges that they have no jurisdiction? Is it out of bounds to consider that he just my be a blowhard patsy? I promise you that even if he succeeds in re-populating the courts with conservatives, the next Bolshevik POTUS will declare the courts to be without jurisdiction in matters X, Y, and Z so dear to the Bolshies. Count on it. That was the foundation of their rhetorical strategy in the Kavanaugh affair.
Jimmy Carter just as surely sent those students to their deaths, knowingly.
Weren’t they supposed to take away government benefits from non-citizens?
What law school graduated this guy?
The answer is massive tonnage of concertina wire and surveillance.
The answer is ‘changing the hearts & minds’ of Mexican leaders.
Routine border shut downs will effect them greatly.
Cut the aid, cut more aid.
Deport Mexican nationals pronto.
They wrote this about the travel ban too. It's not a "blow" to anything, it's some lowly district judge. If the Supreme Court refuses a stay, then it'll be a "blow."
That's a "big blow" or was it predicable in the course of moving this thru?
The Deep State is not going to let US keep our country.
It was decided during the GHW Bush administration that we were going to be a bilingual Hispanic country whether we like it or not.
All the President needs to do to keep this and other activist judges from legislating their commie stench from the bench is to rewrite and then reissue the order in slightly different form, again and again if necessary, until it makes its way to SCOTUS and they determine it to be Constitutional. In the meantime, the Prez can do whatever he deems necessary to protect our nation.
According to Allan Derschowitz, this TRO sounds solid and differs from the travel ban due to the wording within the statute. We’ll see.
It is unclear how many people will sneak through the bush to dodge the official ports of entry.
The real winners in all this are the human traffickers and Mexican drug cartels. They have thousand of new human targets and ‘open season’ on the wondering hordes traipsing lost through the desert.
One thing is clear, Tigar Blows!
.....just as he bows to the ebolized globalization of America.
“Actually, as much as I dont like the decision, it is what the framers had in mind.”
Nonsense.
You can read the Naturalization Act of 1790 and find out precisely what the framers had in mind, since the framers wrote the Act.
The UN is absolutely on the road to a globalist society. It is time for the location of the UN to change to Gabon. Having lived in Madagascar and South Africa when an adult, I sympathize with those societies not seeing the worth of education, laws, written protections for women and children.
Hot having those things DOES NOT mean we have an obligation to let them live here without sponsorship of American Citizens. Sponsorship to include the obligation of the Americans to pay for all aspects of the immigrants life...medical care to housing to food, clothing and schooling.
That SF judge is disgusting. He needs to sponsor at least 20 families as I understand judges make huge, 100s of thousands of dollars in their job of creating opinions out of what they “think” is law.
ML/NJ
What is a TRO?
How is it different?
I missed seeing Derschowitz.
