RUSH: So Stacey Abrams in Georgia has conceded, but well, she hasnt. Shes ripping Kemp, shes gonna run again, refusing to really accept the results of the election in formally conceding, just bitter and angry and calling for a boycott.
Hollywood actors are calling for a boycott of the state of Georgia. Georgia has become a major Hollywood production place because theyve been given tax breaks. And Hollywood actors are claiming theyre gonna start a boycott of Georgia because Stacey Abrams lost an election. This is where were headed. Its not where were headed; its where we are. They refuse to accept the results of an election. This means the people of the state of Georgia are blanket racists.
Kirsten Powers was on CNN over the weekend, former Fox infobabe, now went over across the lines to CNN, claiming that every white woman, period, not voting for Democrats is, by definition, racist. The whole state of Florida is now racist because Stacey Abrams wasnt elected governor.
Andrew Gillum unconceded and then reconceded. He lost! He lost on Election Day. He lost before Election Day. He lost in a gooped-up attempt to recount. This is an absolute embarrassment what happened in Palm Beach County and in Broward County in south Florida. Its no doubt what was being attempted there. And they were unable to steal either of these two elections, the Rick Scott for Senate victory and DeSantis for governor. So Gillum has conceded, then he unconceded, now hes reconceded.
Nelson Smiley Face Staples has conceded as well. And Snipes, Brenda Snipes has resigned. If the Democrats are smart theyll hire her for overall postelection recount. Theyll make up a whole new division in the Democrat Party, postelection recount division, and she can head it up. None of it was necessary. None of any of that that happened. What do you mean, Rush? The elections were close, and by law, they had to have recounts. Yeah. Yeah. But all of its so unnecessary. The recounts wouldnt have happened if thered been some concessions.
Its important to note, folks, look Ive been talking about this for a while now, and I dont want to overdo it here, but there is very, very bad connotations and future to a political party that will not concede election losses. That sets the table for really acrimonious, unsettling, potentially violent times down the road, you know, losers acknowledging theyve lost and then taking steps to fix what went wrong has been one of the foundational building blocks of the country.
Adherence to the Constitution, a mere piece of paper, and yet its been adhered to with respect and reverence for all of the years of our founding. Some exceptions out there of course, but it wouldnt have taken much for a single human being, a president, to come along and literally go on TV and tear it up and say its no longer applicable and start forging whatever kind of country and government he wanted. We hang by that thin a thread, the reference to the Constitution.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Yeah. Eric Holder says about Georgia, Democracy lost in Georgia. This is dangerous, dangerous stuff. You had Sherrod Brown last week said, If this Kemp guy wins, then they stole it. They stole election, he was saying. The same thing is happening in Florida. These guys practically ran the table. You know theres not a single Republican member of Congress from Orange County, California? Theyve lost everything. The Republicans are as tiny a factor in California as they have ever been. I mean, not a single seat out of Orange County.
The margins here in Florida were very close, but they were no different after the recount than on election night, despite the efforts. There was even somebody in Florida, I think it was Broward County Ill have the details coming up during the recount, the ballot counting was going too fast. The machines were going too fast. So somebody stuck a paper clip in the power button to try to short-circuit it and slow it down. (laughing) To slow it down! I mean, the most incredible things were happening.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: ElRushbo@eibnet.us and the Limbaugh Institute where there are no graduates and there are no degrees because the learning never stops. We still have to make a decision. The governor of Florida the governor-elect, Ron DeSantis has specifically requested a diploma from the Limbaugh Institute.
We interviewed him here which was, of course, instrumental in his victory. We interviewed him and he requested a diploma that he could hang on his official governors wall in Tallahassee, and Ive never had a request for one. Hes not talking honorary. He wants the real deal. So were contemplating that, since Andrew Gillum has re-conceded. After conceding and then unconceding, hes re-conceded, and hes admitted that he lost. In fact, lets listen to some of this. Heres Stacey Abrams. This is an angry woman.
I think this is an angry woman during the campaign. This is an angry woman before the election. I think the lefts natural state of mind is angry, outraged. Its certainly not true that theyre happy. The left is not made up of happy people or even content people. The lefts main preoccupation each day is outrage and anger, and they use it to bully and to intimate and when that doesnt work, do they steam! Oh, do they get mad! So Stacey Abrams thinks that she was illegitimately defeated for governor of Georgia and shes not gonna accept the outcome.
Shes not gonna concede ever because she didnt lose. The system cheated her. This is not healthy, and its not good. As I mentioned earlier, a bunch of Hollywood actors are now suggesting a boycott of Georgia. Georgia has become You know the Netflix series Ozark? Filmed in Georgia. Its filmed in Georgia. Its about Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, but its filmed in Georgia. Some big body of water, some lake outside Atlanta somewhere. Im not sure what it is. I dont remember.
Because theyve given Hollywood tax breaks just like New York gave Amazon tax breaks, just like Canada gives Hollywood tax breaks. So if theres a boycott of Georgia, if it ever amounts to anything, you people in Georgia ought to support it. Youre getting hosed! Youre being forced to pay whatever tax rate youre paying while these Hollywood types are given all kinds of tax breaks to come in and produce whatever it is theyre producing! Anyway, here is Stacey Abrams, defiant in Atlanta. This is on Friday at a press conference to deliver her non-concession speech
ABRAMS: You see, Im supposed to say nice things and accept my fate. They will complain that I should not use this moment to recap what was done wrong or to demand a remedy. You see, as a leader I should be stoic in my outrage and silent in my rebuke. But stoicism is a luxury and silence is a weapon for those who would quiet the voices of the people and I will not concede because the erosion of our democracy is not right.
RUSH: Exactly right, and the proof of the erosion of our democracy is that she lost. Why, she even had Oprah! The Oprah went in there, and she still lost! Which proves that Georgia is what? A racist state and undemocratic to boot. If you lose as a large African-American woman and youre being endorsed by another large African-American woman, then there has to be some sexism and racism going on.
And, by God, were not gonna concede to this flouting of democracy. Here is more of Stacey Abrams. She was on State of the Union Sunday morning on CNN. Jake Tapper was talking to her. And he said to her, Sherrod Brown, the Senator in Ohio, says the election was stolen. Do you agree that your election was stolen, and do you think that Brian Kemp is not the legitimate governor-elect of Georgia?
ABRAMS: The law as it stands says that he received an adequate number of votes to become the governor of Georgia.
TAPPER: Is he the legitimate governor-elect of Georgia?
ABRAMS: He is the person who won an adequate number of votes
TAPPER: But thats not
ABRAMS: to become the governor.
TAPPER: Youre not answering the question.
ABRAMS: I am an (sputters)
TAPPER: Do you think it was
ABRAMS: No, I
TAPPER: Youre not using the word legitimate. Is he the legitimate governor-elect of Georgia?
ABRAMS: He is the legal governor of Georgia.
Stacey Abrams: 'Democracy failed' in Georgia governor race>
RUSH: Okay. So what is this? He received an adequate number of votes to become the governor of Georgia. Tapper: But is he legitimate? He is the person that won an adequate number of votes. But thats not Jake, what does it matter when she thinks it is legitimate or not? What the hell does it matter? Okay, so the loser says the winners not legitimate but hes legal? What does it matter what she thinks?
Why is what she thinks the news? Why is what the left thinks of everything the news? Why is the impact good or bad on the Democrats always the focal point of the narrative? Why? Why is it that when the Democrats lose, theres something weird or odd about it, and when the Republicans win theres something fishy about it? Why is this? Inquiring minds want to know. Heres Staple Face, smiley Bill Nelson on his campaign website posting a video conceding the race to Rick Scott. This is the senator race
NELSON: Things worked out a little differently than Grace and I had hoped. But let me say I by no measure feel defeated. And thats because Ive had the privilege of serving the people of Florida and our country for most of my life. I was not victorious in this race, but I still wish to strongly reaffirm the cause for which we fought.
RUSH: Well, okay, its a little better. Hes acknowledging that he didnt win, and hes not categorizing it as illegitimate. Its still not right, but they gave it their best shot. They gave the recount their best shot, they put their best people on it: Brenda Snipes, Susan Bucher. They put their best experts they had on it, and they couldnt flip it, so it must be legitimate. Here is Andrew Gillum. This is Saturday in Tallahassee.
GILLUM: We said that we will fight until the last vote, uh, is counted. We wanted to make sure that every single vote including those that were overvotes, undervotes. Uh, as long as it was a legally cast vote, we wanted those votes to be counted, and now that we are rounding that process out, R. Jai and I wanted to take a moment, uh, to congratulate Mr. DeSantis on becoming the next governor of the great state of Florida.
RUSH: Now, there you go. Theres a little grace there. Thats what used to always get praised. Thats what was always acknowledged as the way to go. No harm there. Gillum didnt hurt his chances. Maybe some of the radicals on the left think he was being too nice, but thats the way it used to go. Heres Rick Scott this morning on Fox & Friends and on the Fox News Channel. Steve Doocy said, Congratulations. Did you at any point think that they might find a bunch of ballots in a book room somewhere and that the other guy who has the job, i.e., Smiley Staple Face Nelson was gonna keep it?
SCOTT: It was very frustrated. When I announced wed won that Tuesday night, we were up 57,000 votes, and they just kept finding ballots. And so thats why, you know, Im thank full for a lot of people that brought light to this to make sure we stop this and were gonna do everything we can to make sure these elections are free and fair.
RUSH: And one more, Ron DeSantis, also on Fox & Friends this morning with Brian Kilmeade. Hes the new governor, governor-elect of Florida. Were there any doubts in the interim from Election Day to today that you would be, at this moment, governor-elect of Florida?
DESANTIS: No. I mean, look, the only thing better than being elected governor of Florida is being elected twice in two weeks.
KILMEADE: (chuckling)
DESANTIS: And so, you know, we had a margin on election night. It was a close race, but it was definitive that I had won. And even with some of the votes that turned up in Broward, I mean, my margin was significant enough. We knew the machine recount was not gonna change it and it didnt. And I also had confidence that Governor Scott would end up winning the recount, both the manual and machine recount there. So I think thats great that it happened and that were moving on now.
The 14th (especially) and the 6th are much more important because we SHOULD (14th) and CAN (6th) win them back.
Hultgren better fade away.
I except Oberweis might run for the 14th. And I suppose I could live with that after his respectable Senate performance in 2014.
Bit of good news I didn't mention, Rock Island County State Senator Neil Anderson (our ONLY leg gain from 2014) narrowly won reelection. He lost Rock Island County but did well enough in the rest of the district (most of Whiteside, some of Carrol and Henry) to eke it out.
California Republicans must have smoking some good stuff to prefer John Cox over Travis Allen. Let's see... Candidate "A" is a proven conservative assemblyman and lifelong California resident who has won repeatedly in an ethnically diverse district that voted for Hillary. Candidate "B" is a carpetbagger from Illinois who ran half a dozen vanity campaigns where he never even came CLOSE to winning, and managed to come in LAST place and get around 0.08% of the Iowa caucus vote when he ran a laughable "campaign" for President. And oh yeah, he was a NeverTrumper who voted for Gary Johnson and vehemently opposed building a wall along the Mexican border, and opposes the death penalty in all circumstances. Well, no question, let's nominate candidate "B"!
I'm guessing some useful idiots who confused John Cox with CHRIS Cox might be the reason he was nominated. Every time I confronted his fan club with facts about why Cox was a weaker choice than Allen, the response was "you just want the Democrat to win. We GOTTA get behind Cox to STOP that!!"
As for Illinois, you had the "being a RINO magically makes him ELECTABLE in a state like this!" crowd, who completely ignored the fact that Rauner's approval ratings were in the toilet and he was literally the LEAST popular Republican governor in the country running for re-election. They honestly belived that even though poll after poll showed Illinois voters loathed him overall, they'd have a "come to Jesus" moment at the last minute and switch to Rauner solely by virtue of him being Democrat lite. The fact the RATs ran a completely tainted crook and he STILL beat Rauner in a landslide just shows you how weak Rauner was.
Had Travis Allen and Jeanne Ives being the respective GOP nominee in their states, I don't think the damage to their state parties would have been nearly as bad. They'd still have a huge uphill battle and would have almost certainly lost running in an entrenched RAT state during a RAT "wave" election, but they would provided an actual fight against the RAT and gotten decent numbers.... Allen would have probably ended up with around 46% to Newsom's 54%, for example.

Yes, I agree. I’ve thought about who else could be appointed, but there is no Arizona R who is even remotely conservative who would be viewed as acceptable. Not Ward, not Joe, not JD Hayworth, not Shadegg.
I’m told Gosar does not have the “fire in the belly” and really doesn’t pursue a higher office.
BTW, there is (as you might expect) a battle for the AZ GOP chairman’s job. Honestly, I don’t know what to make of Jonathan Lines. He seemed perhaps overly optimistic, then soured on Marquez Peterson (but I’m not sure why-—again hear stories she didn’t work all that hard). I can’t tell if he knew the #s or not. I hope to meet with him next week.
I voted early at Downers Grove Village Hall since I would be out of town on election day. Didn’t need to give a reason. I stayed in my voting booth to make sure the paper ballot print-out matched my touch-screen screen hits. Were these the kind of machine that were suspect in 2016? I recall the Downers Site had reports of Trump votes counting as Hillary votes. DuPage is now a vast wasteland.
I think Connelly may be damaged goods based on bad leadership at the village and county levels. He did OK in the State House and Senate, but he came across as a fast ladder-climber that did not take care of details in his wake.
Well, I put “lost” in quotes for a reason, my point in mentioning it was that I can believe some small ticket splitting occurred between well off suburbanites that hate Trump and want a rat Congress to harass him but don’t want Mr. San Fran to be the their tax-happy Governor, so I can buy Cox doing a little better in the OC than the Congressional candidates.
The Issa seat is the only one in the state that MIGHT be a legit rat gain. The other Rs (IIRC, Dana R might have been slightly down) all lead after the actual election day ballots were counted (and rat Ami Bera wasn’t winning by much)
You may have noticed polls actually underestimated rat performance in Cali and Nevada, another indication of fraud (and it was the same thing in 2016).
I should assemble a comprehensive list of races I suspect involved levels of Democrat fraud enough to call into question the outcome since 1994.
You should, I would eagerly await it.
It’s hard to be sure of what margin is small enough to question but I don’t trust many if any of the closest rat wins.
I forgot to note that Cox spent Millions of his own $$$$$ on the race, the only point in his favor.
And Newsome still raised MUCH MUCH more.
