Hopefully, the Mexicans are waking up to the new reality. President Trump will build the Wall, so they better do a better job of keeping Central Americans from using Mexico as a thruway. Otherwise, the Mexicans will be stuck with them.

What is this idiocy?

They don’t “agree” with him: They’re pissed that these migrants have disturbed the status quo on the border.

Their own damned fault for permitting the migrants’ transit through Mexico.

Personally, I won’t be satisfied without a no-man’s land/minefield across the whole of the border.

Wouldn’t be surprised if some secret high tech force field type of a barrier is used.

Someone should tell Mexico to build the wall. Then the caravans would have no reason to cross into Mexico.

“Officials in Baja, CA say there are currently 9,000 migrants moving through Mexico in Caravans.”

Well at least we don’t have to worry about those 9,000 making it here - if they really are attempting this in UAW-built cars.

The cartels can’t be happy with the
added scrutiny. Things are going
to get nasty.

Mexico has one of the most corrupt governments on planet Earth. Their entire law enforcement system, federal, state and local, are basically extensions of the drug cartels that run and fund via bribes and payoffs the semi-official lawless that prevails all over the country.

If there was ever a nation that needed a revolution to free it, it is Mexico but sadly that looks to not be in the cards as their way of criminals running the government has become institutionalized over the years as billions and billions of Yankee dollars from American drug users keep this nefarious system well funded to deal drugs, kill, maim, suppress and then repeat.

Mexico has some of the most restrictive drug and gun control laws, yet the cartels have drugs all over the place to sell and are armed to the teeth shooting to kill anyone in their way, but here in the US, the left constantly calls for 'common sense' gun laws and making US drug laws less restrictive that will slowly push us right into the Mexican realm of public safety.

Some of the media, especially print media like NYT has published articles saying the “caravan” was an issue Trump somehow used as election propaganda and that he hasn’t even mentioned it since the election. Talk about outright lying/fake news! Many have gone so far as to claim the “caravan” is not real and a right wing hoax. They started the hoopla about the “caravan” when they thought it might arrive before midterms and embarrass Trump and Rs. When that didn’t happen they were done with it. The reports about the “caravan” caused a backlash of people that do not agree with illegals coming here and especially not in mass. Due to the backlash the media is trying to backpedal on the whole issue other than bits that they still think might “get” Trump.

Yes I think this may lead to them securing their Southern border again. They can secure it, have in the past for many years. When illegals were allowed to pour in they didn’t care if they crossed Mexico and didn’t see it as their problem. Now they have to deal with them for who knows how long so it is their problem. Not to mention this group has caused problems all the way for Mexico.

It would sure be great for us if Mexico would secure their border to Central America. Would not solve all the problems of the border of course but would better allow us to deal with that if we don’t have large groups of other people trying to get in.
