Domestic Violence Arrest Has Not Dashed Avenatti's 2020 Presidential Hopes

Michael Avenatti said he is “still considering” running for president in 2020 even after being arrested Wednesday on suspicion of felony domestic violence.

“I’m still considering it,” the lawyer told USA Today.

He said his “first priority right now is clearing my name,” and argued that a person’s character is determined by how they overcome difficulties.

"I will not be intimidated," he told the paper in a text message. "The measure of a person is how they get up when they are knocked down."

Hmmmm. Normal democratic street creds for female smackdown? Didn't seem to hurt steve sisolack running for Gov in Calvada/Nevafornia last week. Good news on another front is that the one remaining state senate seat was won by an "R" by around 24 or 25 votes down in vegas thereby denying the "d's" a super majority in the state senate by one seat. Not sure if that's enough to help us or not since they now have the Gov mansion, the Lt Gov seat, the AG seat and a majority in the state house. Not good and I don't see it reversing.

Every U.S. citizen at least 35 years old is constitutionally eligible to run for the presidency. Also, with regard to his domestic violence incident, every man is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

So when considering the above, this Michael Avenatti has the right to seek the presidency in the upcoming 2020 election cycle.

An Avenatti /Ellison ticket would really pack a punch!! They’d be tough to beat! I imagine they will run a hard-hitting campaign on equal rights (and lefts) for women that will choke any opposition.
