The gun violence that continues to plague our nation is beyond heartbreaking its a societal failure. Simply saying, enough is enough, is NOT enough. We must address the root causes of these devastating acts at every level of government. Governor-elect Newsom via Twitter
Its a gun culture. You cant go to a bar or nightclub? You cant go to church or synagogue? Its insane is the only way to describe it. The normalization, thats the only way I can describe it. Its become normalized. Governor-elect Newsom, Gunman [Who] Killed 12 People in California Shooting Identified
Those movies are just that..movies. There was less gun violence in the old west than there is today. When every man 'carried' few men went out looking for trouble.
another very dangerous communist
the once-great Golden State is headed straight down to Hell
Nazis always want to take the guns first.
Wake up California!
Normalization
Sodomy- GOOD
Guns- BAD
We don’t have a “gun culture.” Apart from law enforcement, guns are rarely seen in everyday life, at least in public.
I wonder if any of these girls are still aroundthey’d be in their 90s
I thought California already had common sense gun laws, LOL
I can always get worse. Just look at the situation in Japan, where its virtually impossible for the average citizen to own a firearm of any kind. That is their ultimate goal.
If it was normalized, there would have been somebody there to shoot back.
And forks cause obesity.
Colorado is heading in the same direction, sadly.
The leftists have been redefining and demonizing the “gun culture” since 1968 and the deaths of John and Bobby Kennedy.
Every gun0control lie they have come up with has been a failure so they try for more till something “sticks”.
Anyone who doubts this should go to a local library and pick up the news magazines from June, 1968 through 1981 and see what legal gun owners had to put up with. Demonized on TV with more anti-gun nonsense than you can think of today.
Woke!
A,
Well,
What Now?
We left with our pensions and moved to a small city in Arizona. It's hotter, dryer (except for monsoon), but the political climate is better. Need to drive a bit farther for some things but the roads are much less congested (except for city freeways.) Homes with land and views in areas with little or no crime are affordable. There are democrats and RINOS, they tend to locate near the big cities, for the most part. The state is friendly and tends to respect individual freedoms. Here, I need no permission to purchase or sell a firearm privately, and can carry openly or concealed, as I wish. Leaving a nanny state is like getting rid of the training wheels on your first bike!
Just one piece of advice, when you move, leave any nanny state ideas and values behind or at least be sure to carefully re-evaluate them before introducing them to your new state.
Adios California,,
Metoo!
Yuma to Tombstone will be My
Address.
Caps are deliberate:
NEWSOME: IT ISN’T THE GUNS!! IT IS THE REFUSAL OF THE COUNTRY’S POLITICIANS TO PLACE THE ‘MENTALLY ILL’ INTO HOSPITALS & KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THE POPULACE.
Quit blaming the wrong part of the equation!!!!
Jerome is nice,
Japanese are taught from birth to respect others.
That certainly doesn’t apply to the welfare & gimmedat & snowflake culture we have here.
Video games is the gun culture he must be talking about because the real gun culture is all about self defense, target practice, hunting, and keeping our government in check. Well, there is the gang banger culture, but I don’t think he’s talking about that. I dunno; maybe he is.
Anyone under 30 grew up with video games. Maybe under 40. Killing someone in the virtual world is as easy as pushing a key on a keyboard. In the right damaged mental state; this could be translated into the real world under the right circumstances.
Blaming the gun is pure ignorance and shows lack of any knowledge on the subject. Facts; not feelings are what needs to be looked at.
