Thousands of senate undervotes discovered in crucial Florida county

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — As the race for U.S. Senate, governor and agriculture commissioner appear to be headed to recounts, a strange anomaly has surfaced.

In Broward county, Senate undervotes appear on nearly 4 percent of all ballots. That’s ballots where a vote was not counted for U.S. Senate, despite votes being cast in other races.

What makes the anomaly even stranger, is that it appeared in a county that Democratic incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum desperately needed to score well in. A WESH 2 News analysis of votes cast in various races, shows 701,469 votes were cast in the governor’s race in Broward.

Yet, just 676,706 votes were cast in the Senate race. This discrepancy appears despite the fact that the Senate race was at the top of the ballot. It means 24,763 more votes were cast for governor than for Senate.

This is unbelievable. I voted in Palm Beach County in 2000 on the infamous butterfly ballot and voted in every election since. This is not that complex. You have to READ the selections. Each race is clearly grouped. Each candidate has an arrow next to his/her name, with an open space in the middle of each arrow. You take a black marker that is in the booth and fill in the space to complete one arrow, the one that points to your selected candidate.

If you don’t fill in an arrow then there is no vote! There were some local judge races that I chose not to vote because I didn’t know the candidates so nothing was filled in. That is the case here! Any undervotes are either screw ups on the part of the voter because they didn’t pick a candidate, or they chose to pass on that vote. The senate vote was on the top of the first page, clear as day! The governor vote was second. This is more democrat tricks and cannot stand or we will have major problems!

Deliberate election fraud should be treated as a capital offense.
There is almost nothing worse than subverting the will of voters with theft of votes.

You don’t have to vote in all the races. If you don’t like either candidate you can leave it blank. That’s what happened.

“You don’t have to vote in all the races.”

Exactly.

The Republicans have to stop trying to suppress votes and learn how to manufacture votes like Democrats do. Otherwise they’ll continue to lose recounts like these.

there were undervotes because there was a mission: to elect a black governor. the senate race was ignored by many in the black community. plain and simple.

i eagerly await the secState of Florida to certify DeSantis and Scott as the winners.

then the howling will start, the fake news will issue all sorts of fictional “what if” scenarios, and it’ll be 2000 all over again.

with the same result.

So blacks showed up and votes for the black candidate, Gillum, but didn’t bother voting for the elitist white guy who has been Senator for 2 decades. Sounds perfectly reasonable and feasible to me.

So 1,000s of the phony/fraudulent early and or mail in ballots forgot to vote for the Senate race; they were so sloppy in their fraud.

Broward County, FL is controlled completely by Democrats—including (for as long as I can remember) the Supervisor of Elections, the unassailable (yet incompetent) Brenda Snipes—so there's no excuse. Regardless, it can't change the outcome...

Send a huge Trump Anti-Fraud team down and audit every single vote in those three counties for possible voter fraud and prosecute every single one.

How can it not change the outcome? Will the votes they submit need to be greater than their registered voters. If they keep finding votes... whose to say they cannot keep adding until they win.

No one can legitimately make up what the intention of the voter was when the ballot is not marked in one race.

I am sure that it is just a coincidence that whenever it is a close race with a GOP lead, it is THE SAME 3 COUNTIES that have ‘problems’ with adding 1+1+1+... to get a total. It is also a coincidence that they have the largest number of Democrat voters as well.

Something smells and it isn’t Denmark!
