Andrew McCarthy really knows his stuff.
Recess or not, he’ll eventually have to be, IIRC.
And, my comment also applies to all other appointments going forward where the Squish Sisters have to be appeased no longer.
Trust Sessions my ass
No. Gowdy ain’t rowdy enough when it really matters.
Does poster Triple E. know about this yet?
The GOPe lived under the delusion that they could keep surrendering to the Democrats and disappointing their base and still win majorities in the House and Senate. Now that delusion been shattered and they are actually fearful for the Senate majority now. President Trump campaigned hard for the Senate and saved them from defeat so there is a debt to be paid. They also know that refusing to help President Trump now means they will certainly lose the Senate in 2020. Also the bigger NeverTrumpers have committed sepaku and can no longer obstruct the party.
Probably hung himself. Along with the TRUST SESSIONS and TRUST THE PLAN, SESSIONS and TRUMP prtending to be mad at each other to fool the cabal. All probably ran over a cliff.
How about Ken Cuccinelli as a replacement? Former Virginia Senator and Attorney General...

Please tell me you are joking. Where is your /sarc tag???
Everyone knows that Cucc was one of - if not THE biggest - NeverTrumpers.

“Instead of filing charges, we let people skate. The public thinking the Left was clean, voted to put them in charge of the House.”
Well said. In Chess, this would be called a blunder, which is normally fatal.
“And Senate Democrats lack the votes to stop him.”
Stop him from what? Firing Sessions?
Considering that Myers vs United States established that the President has sole authority to fire executive dept officials, how were Senate Democrats or Mitch McConnell going to stop him? Do they just get to ignore inconvenient SCOTUS decisions and assign themselves power at will?
Agreed. I think Trump has a robust set of contingencies.
Sessions is gone. Rosenstein’s supervision of Mueller is gone. Acosta is gone.
Trump has plenty in his bag of tricks. < IMO
Lol its been a long night and eventful day. Im mentally spent and I just cant afford that!!! Not much there to begin with!
LOL, U hear ya...
:^)
Nah, I don't think so. The first three words of his resignation letter are, "Per your request".
