Arizona
McSally 49.3% 847,021 Sinema 48.5% 832,441 99% of precincts reporting
Montana
Rosendale 48.8% 196,932 Tester 48.3% 194,744 82% of precincts reporting
The bad news is Nevada where Jacky Rosen is projected to defeat Dean Heller.
The Republicans will finish +4 in the Senate. Other than Manchin in West Virginia, all the red state Democrat Senators got slaughtered.

We pick up 3 Senate seats because Tester is probably winning. 54-46.

Also Ruth Buzzy needs to retire now or die.
Never happen since the GOP still has the Senate.IMO

Judging from the way she looked at the Kavanaugh swearing in I’d say it won’t be her choice.

The incredibly long time the Republicans drug their feet and didnt do anything Trump wanted, including passing a budget (mid-Dec), hurt Trump and the country. Ryan and McConnell kept hoping they were going to be able to justify impeachment with the Russian lies.
Over half of Trumps time in office was wasted by Republicans in office. Some of those have resigned or retired, but it hurt the country and hurt President Trump.

You are right and not just Pelosi. The DemocRATS have a very old bunch and given demographics the Grim Reaper may be a factor.

Jan 2 starts the new session of Congress.

Arizona is not technically a pick up. It was a defending R seat. Considing it was Flake who was retiring, I'd call it a pickup. ;-)

John Kyl was appointee to McCains sear about three months ago.

Trump needs to double down and shift even FARTHER right. So many outright socialists were running on the D ticket, and werent wiped out with prejudice by the electorate. Trump has to learn the language of conservatism and then EDUCATE, EDUCATE, EDUCATE.
Also Ruth Buzzy needs to retire now or die. She was hoping for a Dem Senate majority - THAT AIN'T HAPPENING RUTH. Even a Senate majority couldnt have gotten Ruth a commie replacement out of Trump; all her retirement would have accomplished was to reduce SCOTUS to 5 patriots and 3, rather than four, commies. Unless she leaves soon, SCOTUS will be on the ballot again in 2020. Thank God Trump kept Hillary from naming a 6-3 SCOTUS majority!!

“That and the VETO pen.”
The veto pen will generally not be necessary. It will only be needed if the now more conservative Senate goes along with Pelosi and Company and puts a bill on his desk. That is not very likely. We are in for a period of gridlock, which I really don’t mind all that much. It will show the nation going into the 2020 elections that the Democrats don’t actually stand for anything, only hating Trump. The RINO-controlled House wasn’t giving him very much anyway, so not very much will change except the fact that now the Democrats will have to shoulder some of the burden for not getting anything done.
Trump will be able to do a lot with regard to the courts, more than before because Collins and Murkowski are now irrelevant.

Its very concerning that radical leftist RATS did so well in what are supposed to be red states. We better figure out WTH is happening in these states and how to reverse it.

“If the House votes to Impeach, the Senate will vote to Acquit.”
No, the Senate merely does nothing. This is exactly what happened when Clinton was impeached. The Rat who controlled the Senate then very publicly indicated throughout the entire process that they were not even going to be taking the matter up, and the whole thing died there. My concern is that it will impact Trump in a similar manner as it did Clinton, which is to say that it will render him a lot less effective. Now, on the other hand, there may not even be an impeachment. This would give Trump something to run on, as it is quite obvious to any thinking individual that there is not one thing that Trump did since he took the oath of office that would give rise to an impeachment, and also that the whole thing with the Russians was just a hoax at best. Many of those Dems who won in the house last night one by razor-thin margins, and they will be running for reelection starting sometime this morning. Voting for something like this will put them in very grave Danger, and I am not sure that even the Rat leadership wants to deal with the backlash.

Who counts the votes? Or rather who programs what counts the votes. Therein lies your answer.

What? That is not what happened. The Republicans controlled the Senate when Clinton was impeached. They held a trial. They voted. 50 voted to remove Clinton. They needed 67.

Sadly,Breckinridge the Libertarian pulled in over 11k votes after dropping out and endorsing the Republican.
Its going to be sad if Tester comes back to win this one.

-1NV = net +4 assuming ND/AZ holds. FL will have a recount but with a 40k vote lead nearly impossible for Scott to lose (Bush/Gore “finished” at 2k and ultimately ended +600).
