Most of the open seats and retirements were held by RINOs.

Trump was smart and correct to concentrate on the Senate. The Dems had more seats up and he attacked and won. I figured +5 and it’s looking close. I hope MI goes GOP.
Still not all in so I’m not projecting the projections on the House but as it looks, the Dems might only have a majority of less than 10-15 seats.
With 56-57 GOP Senators and shaky control of the House by Dems, they’ll be backed into a corner. Nothing they pass will go through or be signed. I can even see some defecting to our side going on 2020.
They will pull out the massive spending bills and accuse Trump of “not caring for the fill-in-the-blank” group to see if he’ll cave. He won’t.

Darn 17th amendment! How DARE the peasants of those states vote out entrenched backstabbing RAT incumbents! Senators are supposed to represent the STATES, not the wishes of the PEOPLE! Gosh darn it, things would just be sooooo much better if corrupt state legislators could appoint RAT Senators for life and the people had absolutely no say in the matter. < /sarcasm>
