McSally now up 18k votes. Repubs holding on to all major races in AZ. But for how many more years?

It breaks my heart that Claudia Tenney lost this time. Maybe in the future she’ll have better luck either running for rep. again, or another office.

So the empty suit won against Faso. The small majority of voters in the district are brain dead.

I must say, though, that even though I would have voted for Faso if I were in his district, I don’t think much of Faso. He puts politics before principle. I heard, or read, awhile back that he was one of only two Republicans in the House who voted AGAINST defunding Planned Parenthood.

They were able to hide their extremism in hysteria over a dozen or so nonfunctional letter bombs.

Heck, the nonfunctional letterbombs even drowned out the coverage of the synagogue attack once it was clear the attacker was no Trump fan.

Who can discuss issues when nearly the entire western media is nothing but a silly meme generator?

>> I’m so sick of people calling the GOP the “Red” party, seriously. That Orwellian crap should’ve died the day it was created, Election 2000. Demonrats are the Commie Red party. <<

Same here. EVERY time some idiot on facebook posts a "VOTE RED!!" meme, I respond back with a "I refuse to use the mainstream media assigned color scheme. I vote conservative." comment.

Most of these loudmouths screaming "VOTE RED!!!" at the top of their lungs got exactly what they asked for. Their candidates lost and were replaced with marxist Dems. That's what happens when you let the mainstream media define you, and happily embrace it.

With just 5 out of 33 members, the TN Senate Democrat caucus is about as useless as tits on a bull. At least with Thelma Harper, she could play ball with the majority. The new member is just a moonbat who will probably just trot out the race card every time she loses a vote. Harper did not back her, she backed a more moderate type.

Nashville Democrats, of course, achieved a feet not done in 44 years in having an all-Democrat 10-member House delegation. Even Crook County must have one Republican House member somewhere...

Whoever next becomes Speaker after the lousy Beth Harwell (only the 2nd GOP Speaker since Reconstruction, and the last one before her was in 1969), I don’t want to hear any excuse about not slicing, dicing and fileting the lines in Nashville, which were left virtually untouched from decades of Democrat gerrymanders. Beth didn’t want to upset her Nashville colleagues. Thanks for nothing, Beth (BTW, I had THE most left-wing member of the entire TN legislature as my House member, Sherry Jones, who is white. She retired and was replaced by another rodent who may or may not be as deranged).

One positive aspect of tonight is that we won a lot of races where we were outspent by 2 to 1 or more on advertising. So Republicans have to get better at fundraising for campaign ads and events. We can’t rely on President Trump alone to boost turnout and get our message across.

Well, if you look at the overall returns tonight, open borders and nationalized single payer healthcare have a lot of electoral support. The trend certainly doesn’t good. Open borders and socialism appear ascendant. Georgia and Florida almost elected socialists. Colorado and Nevada went hard left across the board. And in Arizona, an open borders supporter of the Taliban is running very close to a mainstream military veteran of some renown.

I don’t like the outlook here at all.

Agreed. The overall trend of where our country as a whole is going politically is extremely worrisome. God help this nation.

Trump won’t be President forever. The GOP can either change or die.

Saw that. I’m behind on the Thread.

I’m not one of those people who reads the last Chapter of the Book before reading every Chapter leading up to it. LOL

Looks like a lot of Precincts to go. Fingers crossed.

There are 147 precincts in Pima, where Sinema leads by 15%+ points, 410 precincts in Maricopa, which is even, and 48 precincts in Pinal where McSally leads by 15%+.

This will go down to the wire. Really close

Yes I fear you are right. As the Dems keep importing voters and we fail to convert them (and even to hang onto all of our own children, all too often), we are seeing inexorable change. Urban areas are reliably liberal and they are growing. Leftism is like a disease that festers in urban waters.

We must keep fighting and praying.

I will never change my views.

There’s nothing the Left can do to me and my values are independent of politics.
