Well, all the Bush and Never Trumpers decided not to run. Some 40 retirees. Dems to their credit were smart in that they recruited lots of military vets (there are some Dems that serve) and ran them in swing districts. The Republicans did not field attractive candidates in some of those districts.

If I’m not mistaken, Ken came out as a Never Trumper. I like Joe DeGenova.

ted never would have been down so far if Trump and a willing press hadn’t smeared him so badly in the first place. It’s probably the birther tard sect not showing up to vote.

early voter ballots (the unchallenged ones) ARE counted in the results ... also

.. Except for ballots which are rejected as defective, all absentee ballots are cast and counted by the poll workers on Election Day. Absentee ballots are included in the final tallies, and are counted whether or not an election contains a close race.

In California it looks like Proposition 6 which would have repealed the state gas tax is going down to defeat. Your first point about placing blame on the voters is right on the money.

Assuming the Republican votes with a Republican majority. Our side seems to always have the crossers, never the Dems.

Yes, I thought Cruz would win by 10pts! Clearly, Cruz ran a poor campaign. After losing the Presidency, I don’t think his heart is in politics anymore.

Wrong.

Cruz had three major factors working against him and it's a wonder he beat them off.

1 Trump supporters who would rather watch Cruz burn, and let a Socialist win, to get revenge for the 2016 primaries.

2 The Rino establishment, who hate Cruz, as much as Trump, for standing in their way.

3 The whole Democrat/Hollywood money machine who are determined to make the fake Hispanic, O'Rourke, the next White Obama President.

...why is Gov. Scott Walker in trouble after so many victories?

Walker was virulently anti-Trump on his way out of the 2016 primary. I mean nasty.

I'm sure a lot of voters remembered that.

FlipWilson:

Correct, their were some 250,000 New Voters from Puerto Rico. The assumption was they were are going to vote Dem. Maybe they moved to Florida, saw a functioning state with job opportunities, saw Americans of Cuban ancestry doing well in Florida and maybe they did not go totally Dem.

To be honest, I don’t know who the president should pick as a new Attorney General.

As long as he (or she) is aggressive, I would be satisfied with the president’s choice.

I think it’s a “Pyrrhic Victory” for the Rats.

I think it will only make a now-unified GOP tougher to beat in 2020.

So we get gridlock in the meantime. I can live with that. Let the Rats flap their gums, they will not win when it really matters.

Are you saying there is 0.0% chance some of the close races could not end up in the GOP side because of uncounted absentee ballots?
