Some poeple here called it when they all started retiring.
That many, not all, but many did it to screw POTUS.
The numbers, and history, definitely worked against us.
The senate is a good though. It's very easy to oust a congressman but an incumbent senator leaves when dead or retired.
So, we fall short by 2?

agree-we conservatives and GOP in general have to stop eating our young, the Dems move and vote in lock step and it gives them more powere. It doesn’t matter if we think they are a RINO, they can win in dem areas and give control of the House etc to GOP, there are more dems in this country than Repub, instead purging Rinos we get Nancy -gawd-I will be hitting the mute button a lot.

As another FReeper said, Ted Cruz is the Al Gore of the GOP. The biggest mistake Cruz ever made was running for president. He had no business even trying.
Donald Trump pulled him across the finish line tonight and he’d better be grateful for that.

Why, wth you talking about? We have a larger majority in the senate..the house has nothing to do with SCOTUS appointees.
Now it’s Trump vs the Rat Congress.
My money’s on Trump.
The Rats just stepped in it, and they don’t even realize it. It’s real easy to be the minority and just bitch all the time. Now they actually have to do some governing where they will be held accountable.
I dont know that we purged the rinos actually, I think the rinos purged themselves and we just have to try and look at the bright side of that or the future opportunity that affords as the votes have been cast and we cant change it now.
POTUS fights best when his back is against the wall. He beat all the bad guys in NYC & Las Vegas, building his empire, and taking all the slings & arrows for it. He’s not afraid of anyone or anything. His opponents better watch out.
