"Working-class issues are the issues of the Democratic Party," Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) told Fox News's Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures."

We got to get off this, you know, just talking about $15 an hour. We got to talk about how we get $30-, $40-, $50-an-hour jobs that people who work hard and play by the rules can be comfortable. I think people are tired of the anxiety, tired of not being comfortable, and the Democratic Party is pushing an agenda that will help those people.

Ever notice the “activists” call for both a $15 minimum wage AND open borders? It’s like cause and effect is not part of their skill set.
Millions of illegal aliens drive wages down, they compete with the native born for jobs. If it weren’t for spineless democrat & republican “leadership” the minimum wage would be well above $15, probably closer to $25 or more. And, without any legislation, middlemen talking about it, “activists” demanding it.
Cheap Bastard.
I’m not even getting out of Bed for less than $1,000 an hour.
Cool.
Does he also envision $20 for a gallon of milk?
And the simplest of 1,200 square feet homes will cost $500,000.
That’s cheap in NYC today....
The $1 Value Menu at the local fast food joint will now have $20 sodas. ......................... You always get the raise suggestions when election time comes around. ............................ Sadly it means nothing, everyone raises the cost of living and everything goes up. It can just go on for ever. Its cheap to print paper. I remember the value menu in 1961, 3 hamburgers, french fries and a milkshake. You gave the counter person $1 and you got 15 cents in change. If you ordered 4 hamburgers instead of 3, no change. The working class will remain the working class unless they find a better way and become the owner class. My lesson from life, the salaries increase, but you only end up spinning wheels complaining that the car you just bought cost as much as your first house 20-35 yrs ago. In my case the first new car I bought was a 65’Datsun for 1500, my house cost 15K. What does a new car cost today, and a house? I was earning about 5200 a year at the time. As my salaries went up, so did that 15 cent hamburger. This jerk is offering pie in the sky, and is seeking votes from people who have’t learned $#!t.
It will be paid for by $50 a gallon gas.
Kiss everyone and most everything goodbye and sell yourself to a company and you can file for 1/4 - 1/2 million in your first year or two (overtime is phenominal!)
Trump's tax cuts makes the young and healthy, mostly male, woking populace a desireable catch to the patient (and true to her husband) female.
Life AFTER that period of a man's working career is a bitch .... we sleep at odd hours and not for long at a stretch.
I'm a retired truck driver (2012) and it doesn't matter what time I go to bed, I'm up at 0230 - 0330 wild eyed and bushy tailed, teady for work ... and I'm 70.
What the hell do you think I'm doing on FR at THIS hour ?
“Medicare wastes over $80 billion a year. Is that how efficiently it would be operated? Medicare for all would cost about $12,000 PER PERSON, per year. About $3.5 TRILLION a year for the first year.”

To date, the $77 million computer system, which went online in mid-2011, had prevented exactly one bad claim by late last year. That totaled $7,591.
Heads up Tim, Robin Hood was a Fairy Tale. He never existed.
Has this anul orifice considered these wages will not matter do to the inflation they cause?
envisions, means he’s dreaming
I am retired with far less than that to live on.
I spent my life doing accounting & bookkeeping.
I do also know how to DRIVE:
I have driven over 1 million miles & I put more than 250,000 on just one truck-—hauling horses to competitions-—all the while working more than 40 hours a week doing my job. Truck still is used to haul horses. It only has about 348,000 on the chassis.
I envision an America where everyone makes an above average wage. “””””’
When a worker in America produces ‘an above average work product’, They will get an above average wage.
The more you reward minimum skills with more money, the more money will be spent on minimum skills. No incentive to improve your skills.
You cannot expect ANYONE to strive to be better when they get paid for being mediocre.
One of the absolute facts I learned when much younger & being in 5 different unions to have the job:
The lowest productive employee got paid the same as the highest productive employee in the group.
AND——sometimes the highest productive person in the group got attacked by others for ‘working too hard’. I know that first hand.
One reason why I worked hard to become self-employed was because I could make more money, work the hours I wanted, and drop the clients I didn’t trust. AND- I didn’t get accosted in the ladies room about how much work I could perform.
When I was teaching college economics, I had my students do a little exercise and estimate how many burgers per hour would have to be sold at what price to pay a single burger flipper $15 an hour. They were very surprised at the results.
sure..... and a $20 loaf of bread and $20 quart of milk....
LIBTARDS are delusional, cant follow rules or laws and ahve ZERO grasp of economics or REALITY... but stupid folks buy it....
