Sen. Lindsey Graham said in an interview Monday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions may step down after this weeks midterm elections.
Jeff will probably step down. Well have a new attorney general most likely early next year, Mr. Graham, South Carolina Republican, said on conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitts radio program.

I like the way you think.
Firing Sessions would have sent a STRONG and CONFIDENT message to the base. Sessions is part of the Swamp and has he been an unfortunate obstacle to restoring integrity in the Justice Department. I wish Trump would have fired him along with that sleazy and corrupt Rosenstein. The base would have loved it!
WWIII WYSIWYG GIGO YMMV
No S.E.S.
But is that even possible? If seems all the entrenched players are in it or a sister Deep State group.
Sorry if Im cranky.
Heres the deal: Hatch is leaving so Finance Chair is open. Rules are such that Crapo is up next at Finance if Grassley stays put. Some senators dont trust Crapo and want Grassley to switch. Grassley has already been Finance chair but could do it again for two years.
So the question is whether Crapo can be trusted in Finance more than Graham can be trusted in Judiciary, and whether Grassley wants to switch major committee chairs again in two years when hell have two more years to serve in his Senate term.
I recommend donuts lover gov Christie. He is available, and certainly is no shrinking violet. He would have the courage to clean up DOJ. Christie is not the most conservative dude east of Mississippi, but he can force his weight around in a bureaucracy.
Have it occurred to you that if Trump wanted Sessions gone, he’d be gone by now?
You still obsessed with AGs who preen and dance for the cameras and frog-march perps in front a live studio audience?
Step down or be fired.
No way Jones or any Dem wins a statewide seat in 2020.: Trump will have major coattails.
“I have occasionally wondered how Q believers are going to react when the little cretin is shown the door, soon after Tuesday.”
trust the REAL plan to oust Sessions, the double secret probation plan ...
“along with the secret Q passcodes. “
don’t you also need the Little Orphan Q passcode secret decoder ring to decode those passcodes?
LOL...what am I saying? You've drunk the purple QOOL-AID and BLIND to the facts.
And please, no more Fox Newspersons for any governmental positions. They’re simply not qualified and are giving President Trump bum steers as far as advice.
If Trump wanted Attorney General Sessions gone, his *perfect* window of opportunity is to fire him in late December, after the 115th Congress adjourns sine die.
From the date of adjournment until the 116th Congress convenes, President Trump can recess appoint an Attorney General who cannot be blocked by the Senate for all of 2019. Come 2020 when the recess appointment expires and a permanent AG must be nominated, we will be entering the throes of the 2020 Presidential election, and Senate Republicans will be hard-pressed to pursue retaliation tactics against Trump.
Foreseeing this, it's possible that Sessions sees the writing on the wall, does the noble thing for the party and steps down without rancor. Sessions could call for unity and work with Trump to find his replacement. Sessions could follow the Nicki Haley model of stepping down, and avoid the obvious harshness and symbolism of disunity of a recess appointment when the President's party controls the Senate.
The disunity of firing Sessions and forcing a recess appointment against a "friendly" Senate would totally obscure any messaging of a mandate coming from the 2018 mid-term election, should a "red wave" actually occur. The MSM would totally ignore fake news of a "blue wave" if Sessions chooses to force Trump to fire him and recess appoint his successor.
I can't believe that this is the legacy that Jeff Sessions wants for himself.

Such an AG would be a damn sight preferable to a cowardly weasel who's recused himself from prosecuting the most egregious crimes in US history, and who's left his president wide open to attack by that same treasonous cabal, by refusing to resign.
I'll take an AG like that over the execrable eff Sessions any day of the week.
I agree
I think Sessions sandbagged himself recusing thinking it was the right thing to do not realizing the shitstorm arrayed against his boss
Its been. Major disappointment
He and DeMint were once the solids in the Senate
I never figured it would be like this..pity
Id love to be surprised but I dont think I will be
Yet again?
Give me a break.
Its Levin not Levine
He was originally for Trump then waffled and said something critical and Trump hit back very hard as did Trumpers
Levin a six four Jew is no pu$$y himself and pushed back too
And it got personal
Before the election he agreed to support Trump because the alternative was untenable
Since then Levin has watched Trump govern frankly as or more conservative than Magnus
And hes warmed to Trump immensely and vice versa
As I slogged up a middle tennessee knob tonight walking listening he had Trump on live to open the show essentially as a surprise
And you can tell they are patched up and both exuded warmth for one another like long lost combat veterans
And if you think Levin isnt smart ....I guess you have really high standards
law Degree I think from Temple
Advisor to Ed Meese at age 24
A stalwart in conservative politics for decades
I dont agree with his neoconfedrate shaming ala DSouza and Shapiro
But hes usually right otherwise....
And yes he is noisy but unlike Hannity he lets folks finish their train of thought
Lately hes been publicly called an anti Semite bigot even though hes pretty darn Jewish self identifying wise
And he didnt back down and instead pushes back like Trump shows us to do
Cause it works
I was mad at him too but Im listening again
He never stepped up!
