President Donald Trump issued a dire warning to would-be immigrants making their way toward the U.S., warning that thousands of U.S. troops being sent to the border would return fire if caravan members throw rocks at them.
Trump has already ordered thousands of troops to the southern border, and was asked after delivering a fiery speech at the White House whether he envisioned them firing on the people making there way approaching the border on foot.
'I hope not. I hope not. It's the military. I hope there won't be that. But I will tell you this: Anybody throwing stones, rocks, like they did to Mexico and the Mexican military, Mexican police – where they badly hurt police and soldiers of Mexico – we will consider that a firearm,' Trump warned.

I did not get past the title as that is not what I heard Trump say. He said if they throw rocks it will be considered as if they have a rifle.
That is what Trump said or at least was reported to be his words.
Trump reportedly said ‘WE WOULD CONSIDER THAT A FIREARM BECAUSE THERE’S NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE’
At one point, he said that the Mexican military had a hard time trying to stop the 2nd caravan.
He went on to say ‘ours won’t’.

I didn’t hear him say that. I heard him say if rocks are thrown, we will consider them (the rocks) to be guns.
I did not hear him say that our troops would “open fire” on the invaders.

So True. The Donald leaves the actual response open but the MSM defines it as “ shooting” Click bait headline and misleading....
Do what the Belgians did to the Brits who disrupted the World Cup Soccer matches. Hit them with water cannons.... It stopped the perpetrators and calmed the mob down...
They warned them, and then showed the actual use on TV that night as a detterent....
