I kind of doubt it was pornography or content. Unless they were publishing without attribution, more than excerpts, etc. Did they pay their bill? Did they advocate violence? Make threats?

It is about Free Speech...which can be ugly, but I’d rather have people disagreeing with me than a bunch of radical progressives shutting down the town square like they are doing on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

Using your logic, some left winger could post a pornographic image here on Free Republic and get it shut down. Sure, our moderators here will be sure to take it down pretty quickly. But not before the image is forever archived at "archive.is" and pointed to as an "example" of what Free Republic is all about.
