His motivation to vote for Trump in 2016 sounds similar to my Aunt’s. She was a lifelong Dem, and she wanted Bernie. She saw how the Dems and Clinton treated him. She voted for Trump.

That was my thinking, but he was apparently ineligible even to register, due to felony convictions. Just one of the things that smells fishy about this.
