They both refused the truth or at least the “fair and balanced” point of view.
They were arguing over where Trump’s “rhetoric” caused the mail bombings. First of all, Sayoc has a long criminal record including bomb threats, dating way before Trump became President.

Secondly and most important, the REAL ELEPHANT in the room is the fact that the bomb targets, Obama, Waters, Clinton, DeNiro, Biden, Holder, Harris, Booker, have all encouraged public violence against conservatives/Republicans and Donald Trump. WHY ISNT THEIR INFLAMMATORY RHETORIC BEING DISCUSSED AS THE CAUSE?
