Donald Trump has ordered the military to be on alert over a US-bound migrant caravan as he declared a national emergency.
Referring to the caravan from Honduras, the president tweeted: "Sadly, it looks like Mexico's Police and Military are unable to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States.
"I have alerted Border patrol and Military that this is a National Emergency."
He added that the US would begin "cutting off, or substantially reducing aid" to three Central American countries.

There must be choke points along the way to the United States that can be closed down. What if bridges suddenly fell into the rivers and canyons. What if roadss were closed due to huge landslides. Just slow them down till the invaders give up.

Send as many troops to the border area as it takes to convince the Mexicans that we are ready to invade. Start blowing up the infrastructure in Mexico that leads to the border. The Mexicans will stop the caravans at that point. No body dies on purpose.

I think the Mexicans sending money back to Mexico must also be stopped until lasting changes are made.

Wire should be going up as we speak. And those who say the military cannot get the job done in time to stop this invasion are wrong. The only thing preventing it from going up are the politicians. Remember that folks, when you cast your ballot in the mid-terms.

Declare martial law along the border area effected, to allow immediate deportation without hearing.
Put enough personnel on the ground to zip tie infiltrators, tag them with an identifier number, and load them on buses.
Run a stream of buses from the border to the nearest airbase, and capture their identification information. Load them onto planes.
Run a flow of aircraft from their to Soto Cano Airbase (Palmerola) in Honduras. Give each detainee one MRE and some water. Send an MP Battalion down there to handle receiving the planes.

It all depends on the rules of engagement. I don’t see how anything less than lethal force is going to work here.

I also agree 2with stopping all money transfers to any bank accounts in those countries, along with Western Union money grams, or whatever other means they are using to send our money to their families.

Actually, Trump taking action on all these people would have a bigger pro-Republican effect instead of an anti-republican effect. That’s what the liberals do not understand. If Trump caves, the Liberals will win. If he deploys troops and fights, the media will wail, but the people will all vote republican.
