Doctor Who is about to do battle with a new deadly enemy...racism.
Sundays episode centres around Rosa Parks who refused to give up her seat in the colored section of an Alabama bus to a white passenger.
The outcry over her 1955 arrest sparked the start of the civil rights movement.
In her latest adventure, Time Lord Jodie Whittaker lands in Americas Deep South as an evil alien tries to disrupt the historic confrontation.
She and her team have to ensure the pivotal moment is not sabotaged.
Sidekicks Ryan Sinclair and Yasmin Khan face discrimination as they are refused entry to a motel and both discuss modern racism, too.
Ryan, played by black actor Tosin Cole, says: Its not like Rosa Parks wipes out racism from the world forever.

Tom Baker.
Once they announced the new Doctor would be female, I dropped it from my DVR queue.
You just KNEW it was going to go SJW like never before.
How came you to know Jon Pertwee? Or are you speaking figuratively?
I wrote to him back then and asked if I could meet him when I next visited London, I met him and his family, and we became actual friends. Spent much time with him in the UK and the US at conventions or just visiting.
Jon gave me his costume used in the Green Death and other episodes, his Five Doctors script (I was in London when they were filming it and went to the rehearsals), and other of his favorite items so Id have something to remember him by. As if I could ever forget!

I’ve noticed that when the narratives are too perfect (ie scripted) they are a tipoff to, well, a narrative. Unfortunately, because they are prefabricated with nice little chapters that people repeat like fairy tales they spread quickly. Matthew Shepherd is another example.
Actual events such as Watergate and Spygate have a huge number of variables, details, timelines, etc. To get a grasp of the facts - even a partial grasp - requires great effort, not least because so many involved are trying to avoid scrutiny or suppress the facts.
Well, Dr. Who is a guy, sooo...

Sorry the Doctor is a she now, as was the Master last season.
Doctor Who has become a massive left wing commentary of the Left’s obsessions. Next regeneration will be a trans sexual. The companion last year was a lesbian.
Still enjoy the stories, except when they get really heavy into their propaganda. Quit watching Capaldi.
The outcry over her 1955 arrest sparked the start of the civil rights movement.

Buuuuut...the arrest affected the universe, according to the show. I really have problems with some violent criminal from the far, far distant future guy coming back to dissuade Rosa Parks from refusing to give up her seat.
Of course time theorist say that a butterfly can affect events around the world, and through time.
I predict they next Doctor, if there is one, will be a person of color, black or Moslem since thats the UK. A Moslem Gallifreyan? Theyll figure a way. Capaldi, who I like, was the last white male Doctor.
Has England run out of problems from their past, that need fixin’?
Have we made any “content” about their Muslim/grooming situation? They are so perfect that they have to borrow our history.
And I am an admitted Anglophile, but they should stop being silly.
That is freaking awesome! I’m envious.
Ive noticed that when the narratives are too perfect (ie scripted) they are a tipoff to, well, a narrative.
Good point.
Unfortunately, because they are prefabricated with nice little chapters that people repeat like fairy tales they spread quickly.
And because the evilstream misleadia repeats them continuously, they have staying power.
To get a grasp of the facts - even a partial grasp - requires great effort, not least because so many involved are trying to avoid scrutiny or suppress the facts.
Yes, and also providing false versions of events.
“Buuuuut...the arrest affected the universe, according to the show.”
Sounds like wackadoodle nonsense to me.
“I really have problems with some violent criminal from the far, far distant future guy coming back to dissuade Rosa Parks from refusing to give up her seat.”
1. Why would you think it would be a violent criminal? Could be that people in the future will see that things would have been much better if the “civil rights” movement had not happened.
2. Not to worry: if something had gone wrong with Operation Rosa, the KGB would have come up with another plan within days. They were really, *really* good. Probably still are. the CIA, on the other hand, couldn’t even take out Castro.
“Of course time theorist say that a butterfly can affect events around the world, and through time.”
Hippy-dippy, crystal-crunching buncombe.
I predict they next Doctor, if there is one, will be a person of color, black or Moslem

One of the current companions is a Muslim. She mentioned coming home from the mosque in yesterday’s episode.
Why would you think it would be a violent criminal?
****
Because they stated that he was in the episode. With a neural inhibitor imbedded in his brain, to prevent him harming anyone.
Didnt know as Im skipping 13. I figured they would have to cover all the gender, orientation and minority bases.
