Journalist Carl Bernstein said Sunday that President Trump has discussed ways to challenge the results of the midterm elections if the GOP's grasp on power slips.
During an appearance on CNN, Bernstein said his sources relayed this information to him on Friday, warning that Trump has talked about a disruption campaign if the results are close but have the Democrats taking control of the House or Senate.
"I talked to people ... in touch with the White House on Friday who believe that, if the congressional midterms are very close and the Democrats were to win by five or seven seats, that Trump is already talking about how to throw legal challenges into the courts, sow confusion, declare a victory actually, and say that the election's been illegitimate," Bernstein said after being asked if Trump's challenge to fraudulent voters was a form of voter suppression.
"That is really under discussion in the White House," he added.

These people must be on drugs or something to find sources that seem clairvoyant. They know they are going to lose and their power and the sealed indictments are going to hit after the election. Any disinformation they dream up seems good to them.

They are STILL calling it illegitimate 2 years later!
Remember that the Dems said that Trump was going to call the 2016 election illegitimate and then immediately after the election the Dems themselves called it illegitimate claiming that Trump had done the very thing that the Dems themselves had done, ie conspire with the Russians. Since Bernstein says that Trump is going to challenge the election based on fraud, I think he must know that the Dems have in fact committed fraud.

I don’t follow CB at all … but the last couple of times I’ve chanced to see him on tv, he seems seriously around the bend. Not trying to be snarky here; I do think he’s gone soft in the head. If he weren’t a left-wing sock puppet with some residual name ID, the media would not have him on.
And they’re laying the groundwork to call the Supreme Court illegitimate. All that is ok and isn’t scary to Bernstein
