Unfortunately US military on the border is a farce.
There could be a soldier/marine every five yards of the US - Mexico border, but the “asylum” caravan will simply enter at regular Ports of Entry as have the earlier ones.

From what I’m hearing, this mob is only walking when they are in areas where the cameras are running. Most of the trip is by means of motorized transportation.

Trump should order the Army to seal the border immediately.
Have the Army string concertina wire coast to coast, and declare The Wall built. Post reservists along the entire length. Reduce illegal border crossings to zero.

You have described what I think is a very credible and effective way to prevent this invasion, and I will be watching to see if Trump orders this done. He damn sure better do whatever is necessary before the coming election or he’s toast.

Absolutely no question about it. The ‘rats and the RINOs are responsible for this existential threat to our country.
They have just proved they will flout the laws of any country they are in...may make it easier to deal with keeping them out...and dealing with Mexico if they allow them to continue after this...
