The Kavanaugh debacle may have stirred up memories of the treatment of Clarence Thomas, which was extremely distasteful to most black Americans. Most black Americans were on Anita Hill's side, because Clarence Thomas was viewed by them as a traitor to his race.
That is the fate of most blacks who've jumped ship from the liberals to the conservatives.
