More than 100 leading scholars from 12 countries have issued a report contending "the global war on fossil fuels....was never founded on sound science or economics" and urging the worlds policymakers to "acknowledge this truth and end that war."

Every year after the IPCC report is published, the Heartland Institute publishes this NIPCC.
The war is over! DRILL BABY, DRILL!
Goebbel Warming is what has been pushed down the throats of our kids. It’s time that it is stopped. We need more brave people like these scientists.
There is no such thing as “fossil fuels.”
The fuel is petroleum. It is produced continuously in the bowels of the earth from Calcium Carbonate (chalk), Iron Oxide (rust), and DiHydrogen Monoxide (water).
When it burns, it produces Carbon Dioxide and water vapor (moist plant food). The plants, in turn, feed us and produce Oxygen, which we breathe to stay alive.
All according to God’s design.
Thanks.
So advocating renewable carbon neutral whale oil really is back on the table?
DON'T YOU JUST LOVE IT!
GOD IS GOOD!
Almost a hopeful sign that some are starting to get their heads screwed on straight.
So when will Congress, Trump and the DOE get off the ethanol boondoggle and allow better gasoline to put on the market?
Yes He is.
When liberal creepozoids will listen, I explain the Carbon Cycle. I also talk about the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, moons with oceans of liquid methane and other hydrocarbons. I sincerely doubt that ancient dinosaurs and savannahs morphed into hydrocarbons on these moons billions of miles away. We have only drilled a few short miles into the Earth’s crust.
Re: Watts Up With That
I first heard about WUWT right here on Free Republic, many years ago. I visit there almost every day.
the phrase isn't, "survival of the quittest."
Yup, me too. We need to post more from there. I’ll start doing some.
Logic is not your strong suit, is it. (notice that's not a "?") Yes, it's a "take-off", a gentle dig, etc.; that, in no way, shape or form means it's a scam.
The author is simply utilizing the well-known, time-tested principle that humor, especially when it's based on fact and truth, is an effective way of making your argument. Labeling it a "scam" is simply you demonstrating your own bias.
However, Ben Ficklin knows about the Heartland Institute, which is a very Conservative organization that challenges the science behind man-made global warming.
So, I'm thinking Ben just used clumsy wording in his Comment.
There are no scientists there, they are PR men and political scientists.
Heartland's funding is from fossil fuel interests. Heartland used to get some of their funding from insurance companies but the insurance companies all abandoned Heartland when they started that campaign of calling all the global warming people unibombers.
There is another way to determine that the NIPCC report is a scam. Click on the report and scroll to the end where they list all the authors.
As always, you will see the names Willie Soon and Fred Singer. But if you internet search all the names, you will see that none of them are qualified.
The NIPCC report is a rebuttal report and there is no point in reading the NIPCC until you have read the IPCC report.
