His team needs to start looking into the backgrounds of all of his other people on the list. Start digging deep now.

And she won because Democrats voted for her.

She’s been looking to make the jump for a long time, and it’s most likely going to happen after the midterms.

There’s something Alaska republicans can do IMMEDIATELY, pass a sore loser law in the state legislature.

Manchin will be the only Dem yes vote and we’ll be lucky if he stays a yes.

Need someone competent and able to when. Rerunning Joe Miller is a sure loser. Palin is leaving Alaska and is not that popular any more. Her 15-minutes has long past. Surely there is a credible Republican, a respectable Trump Republican to put up in 2022?

It’s quite possible that Murk always was a No. She has never declared anything to the contrary.

I don’t think she “knew” she was going to do this or the report had anything to do with it. She wanted a bribe, like she always does, and whatever Mitch offered it apparently wasn’t enough for her highness. It probably wasn’t even a highway that had her name on it. I hate these people.

Murkowski has never accomplished anything on her own. Everything is riding her father’s coattails. Even being appointed to the senate by her father.

Alaska needs to wake up.

Oh please. spare me the give Alaska back to Russia garbage. Even if it is sarcasm. You should still be grateful to be American. Stop it with the treason-veering. If you hate the country so much, YOU move and go be a Putin serf in a nation with ZERO due process.

Even jokes like this do no one favors. Fight for your country. Pray for Kavanaugh and be thankful you live in the greatest country on earth.

Erik Wasson Congressional Reporter Senate vote cloture vote on Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.
KEY TAKEAWAYS from today’s vote:

-Senate Republicans and President Donald Trump are on the cusp of a major political victory: cementing a 5-member conservative majority on the Supreme Court
- After days of indecision, Senators Jeff Flake of Arizona, Susan Collins of Maine and Joe Manchin of West Virginia voted to advance the nomination

Collins delaying her announcement gives her more time to be bribed and gets her more national attention.. Old dried up women still want to be the center of attention and that is about the only way she can get it... attention hoorah
