A friend of Christine Blasey Ford told FBI investigators that she felt pressured by Dr. Ford’s allies to revisit her initial statement that she knew nothing about an alleged sexual assault by a teenage Brett Kavanaugh, which she later updated to say that she believed but couldn’t corroborate Dr. Ford’s account, according to people familiar with the matter.
Leland Keyser, who Dr. Ford has said was present at the gathering where she was allegedly assaulted in the 1980s, told investigators that Monica McLean, a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and a friend of Dr. Ford’s, had urged her to clarify her statement, the people said.

Monica Mclean needs to be asked directly by LEO if she had anything to do with scrubbing Fords social history OR writing the statement Ford provided to the Committee.
Then subpoena Facebook, twitter, Whats app, etc. to see who did the scrubbing.

I do not believe Ford was ever assaulted let alone by Kavanaugh. I do think she is an overwrought activist nut who deleted her social network footprint outlining her activism before trying to stop his nomination by falsely accusing him anonymously. But she did not count on the dems leaking her name and having to go all in by testifying.The great thing about not being a politician is that you can say what you truly believe despite the sloganeering narratives of the MeToo movement. There are women who are truthful and women who have been assaulted. Ford is just not one of them.

I'm assuming they called her, and didn't visit her in person. Could have been text or email, but I wasn't able to read the rest of the article without subscribing or joining WSJ.
This setup was bad, and clearly in the works for years.
I can’t imagine the story they’ve concocted for Amy Barrett. You know they have one, and since she’s a woman it will no doubt be a doozy.
The same "small group" is running the smear against Kavanaugh, as did against Trump. There are not that many of them in total, with a few corrupt politicians and a few evil big funders. This treasonous network can, and must, be taken out.
