I understand why people that climb ladders to enter burning buildings and people that take down felons on the street need to retire somewhat early due to the job demands.

But why is an FBI lawyer retired at her age?

I have had business friends that worked for the government. There is good and bad everywhere, but it seems like the DOJ / FBI is producing a lot of people that have no boundaries.
