Now would be a good time to clean out her desk, she’s definitely on her way out.
Nailing the last nail in her own coffin.....
If she had voted YES everyone knows it would have been done to try to save her own ass..she knows this is her final term, so she wants to get a job as a Dem strategist on MSNBC
Bismarck is pretty liberal. As is Fargo. Grand Forks a little less so. Minot is a mixed bag with the university on one hand but Minot AFB on the other. But then you go rural and it gets deep red.
(Live in Minot ND myself.)
No matter how she votes, she’s going to lose big. Voting no will only double the margin.
What choice does she have? If she votes “no”, the Democrats will find a position for he in D.C. If she votes “yes”, she will be an outcast from the Democrat Party.
Isn’t she a democrat?
I remember shortly after Obama was immaculated they brought former Senator Tom Daschle up to Capitol Hill to testify on something or other.
It struck me that he was wearing a VERY expensive Italian suit and wore a really nice Rolex.
Message delivered. If you are willing to stick with us on the tough votes, life as an ex-member of Congress can be very sweet indeed.
[Not so] nice knowing you, heidi.
There’s a pickup.
I sure hope Flake follows her example and votes yes to get a position from the Republicans.
Ha. I took their poll and told them I’m voting democrat and I’m an independent white girl.
Umm..... close but no cigar.
I hope he votes “no.” It would make it more likely that he would lose. But I suspect he may very well vote “yes.” He seems more interested in self-preservation than anything else.

Vulnerable Democrat incumbent Heidi Heitkamp from North Dakota told a local station that she will vote no on Kavanaugh. This is despite the fact that in a recent poll, 60% of the people in the state want to see him confirmed and she trails her GOP opponent by 10 points.
Gracias, gracias
Sorry. When one gets to be an antique, memories get limited, selective. I was recalling north damotas Non- Paryisan League ( with roots in the leftist Progresuve era and largely organizes by an active Socialist) and how it became the states parallel to neighboring minnesotas Farmer Lanor party.
I feel sorry for you. I worked in Minot once, just once. Im a Fargo native
