Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley is standing by his tweets supporting Brett Kavanaugh despite most of the Democrats on the committee sending him a letter demanding that he retract them on Wednesday evening. Responding to the letter, Grassley said, “Nothing in the tweet is inaccurate or misleading. The committee stands by its statement, which is completely truthful. More baseless innuendo and more false smears from Senate Democrats.”

The Dems are seriously overplaying their hand, and based their “play” on a troubled woman (IMO) whose testimony is not only full of unlikelihood’s, gaps and uncorroborated “retrieved memories”, it has turned out to be riddled with just plain lies.
Worse for the Dems, it appears they are addicted to their own tactics, can’t stop, and are pissing off not only the Republican base, but people like Senator Grassley, who bent over backwards to accommodate them. If the Pubs can gain a couple seats in the Senate next month, I hope they investigate these Rats and wherever wrongdoing is found, give them, politically speaking, the Gadaffi treatment.
I normally am a lot more restrained in my comments, but, I am just sick, and furious, at seeing a decent person destroyed in this sort of quest to retain political power. Moreover, if even good people can be wrecked in this manner, and bad ones protected, in a generation or so, what good people will be left? There will be little incentive to be good. Our civilization will have, for practical purposes, ended. Might as well turn it over to the ISIS types.

Keyser’s attorney, Howard J Walsh III, last night confirmed that his client has spoken with the FBI and that when she did so she could not corroborate Ford’s account...
But Keyser’s relative revealed the mother-of-two’s shock at being named as a witness by a woman to whom she has barely spoken in recent years.
And they expressed anger at Ford’s suggestion that Keyser could not recall the party because of the ‘significant health challenges’ she has faced in recent years...
The family member went on to explain that the ‘health challenges’ faced by Keyser have not impaired her memory...

I have come (somewhat reluctantly) to the conclusion that today’s Democrat party has devolved into a true Enemy Of The People, along with their accomplices and enablers / promoters, the Enemy-Media.
I remember a day a few decades back, when I would think that such an idea was krazy.
It’s destructive madness born from Godless multiculturalism — an idiotic idea. Some (too many) of my oldest friends have been seduced and their minds destroyed by this. (...and, of course, they think I’m the krazy one—)
Leland Keyser is the reason I do not believe Ford. Would a girl/woman leave her best friend alone with sexual predators? If she did would she not call the friend asap to check on her safety? Or wouldn’t the friend have called asap to see why she left the party and if she was OK, not sick or something?
Remembering how bffs were in high school/college, her story doesn’t feel true.
There is a good reason that Psychiatrist Scott Peck called “evil” the “People of the Lie” in his book by the same name.
And this is obvious to the casual observer unless they #believewomen.

Most of the higher ups tweeting have a younger staffer actually posting for them. They dictate the idea to be conveyed, let the staffer compose to fit format, then ok it.
Trump does it, too, btw. Sometimes.
