Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) asserted on Sunday that Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) will face an investigation over her handling of a letter from Christine Blasey Ford in which she alleged Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her decades ago.
Appearing on CBS's "Face the Nation," Cotton disputed the legitimacy of Feinstein's claim that she did not disclose Ford's letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) because Ford had asked it remain private.
"They have betrayed her. They pointed her to lawyers who lied to her and did not tell her that the committee staff was willing to go to California to interview her. Now all of that is water under the bridge," Cotton said.
"Those lawyers are going to face a D.C. bar investigation into their misconduct," he continued. "Dianne Feinstein and her staff is going to face an investigation for why they leaked that."

Cotton did not elaborate on who would conduct such an investigation, but Feinstein, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, has adamantly denied that her office leaked Ford's letter.
Feinstein's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Feinstein first received a letter from Ford detailing the allegations in July, but Ford had asked that it remain private.

I suppose Cotton will be the next one on their hit list.
Nail the ChiCom collaborator to the wall.
Guess we will find out, Fineswine.
What would her punishment be?
If Ms Feinstein doesn’t look out, her behavior may earn her a ‘A terse, and VERY sternly worded note’ from Mr. Cotton!
That note will then be placed in her file and on her Permanent Record!!!
Hope it hangs over her reelection campaign like a dark rain cloud. Even though her opponent is worse.
“What would her punishment be?
Ask Lois Lerner.
Let’s ignite the anger that started the tea party movement. No, the anger is already ignited, let’s put the anger into strategic action in this next election.
Start by prosecuting election vote fraud.
Pass voter ID laws.
Does Feinstein have children? Just wondering where they work...
But don’t investigate how she had a Chinese spy in her employ for 20 years and made tens of millions of dollars from the Chicoms.
None of this will happen. The GOPs talk big, then slink away if a Rat says “Boo!” to them
It should take a few minutes to rip to shreds the entire narrative that Blasey-Ford wanted her letter to be kept private, assuming any investigation actually wants to look into what really happened. (I doubt that.)
If the letter was going to be kept private why were high-powered Democrat operative lawyers hired weeks before it was “leaked”? Why were Ford’s social media accounts professionally scrubbed before that unexplainable “leak”?
Big whoop.
Anita Hill wanted her issues kept quiet but it was too much of an opportunity. Now she’s a rich hero. Doubt if any man wants her but them that’s not important to anyone anymore. Take the money.
“It should take a few minutes to rip to shreds the entire narrative that Blasey-Ford wanted her letter to be kept private,”
And she shopped her story around to print media. Her letter never was intended to be private. Therefore, Feinstein did nothing wrong in that regard.
Feinstein did keep it secret from Grassley, and that should carry some kind of penalty.
Will they cut her ration of Boost? Big whoop.
why did she call the washington compost hot line?
why did she send a letter at all?
A wrist slap could be life threatening at Feinstein’s age, don’t take the possibility lightly!
